Sounds like a clutch problem to me...I'd pull the clutch cover off & take a look see.
-
You're the shit 00...you have PM.

May be a while, I'm going to have to hold off for the time being. I got a bill from the college yesterday to the tune of $576.97 for shit my loan wouldn't cover. So yeah,...gunna be awhile. I just bent my fork back in a cooch hair and am going to shim the shit out of it so it won't slide hopefully. Took the shee to get sandblasted today, the guy's cutting me a deal...so I can scrape some change to get that done and I have to pick up my paint today because I had to order it in and they'll ship it back if I don't pay for it today. Sucks, I really wanted to get that shit fixed now while I have it apart, but being the broke ass I am I can't afford all this shit at once, so it will have to wait. I too am just as interested the rest of you are on this deal. When it rains...it's a fucking monsoon around here.

Right on,...I met spud last year @ LS. I'm trying to get zephead400ex(my roomate) from EXR's to go to...he's talking about going to the dunes that weekend, so I dunno. -
That would be my choice, should suit your motor well. I don't know much about the airstrykers, so I couldn't help ya there.
-
I couldn't agree with you more. Have you ever even ridden a dirtbike before? Hell I'm 6'1 185 and don't know that I'd want a 450 or 500cc bike at this point in time, I've ridden them and damn, that's about all I can say...those guys railing the 450's on the track seem to be absolutely frigg'n nuts to me...but I've grew up on quads too. I miss my old '00 TTR250, that was a great trail bike & did everything I ever wanted it to. However, I'd be tickled pink to have me a yz250f.

Well I'll probably just get it sandblasted with the frame tomorrow when I take it to get it blasted. Reason I ask is my burgard arm,...the previous owner, don't ask me why, painted it with black paint...and he did a very, very shitty job to say the least...so it's almost like it's PC here & a little painted here,...etc. Looks like crap. I'll probably just re-paint it & say the hell with it. Thanks for the info though guys, cleared a lot of questions up that I had.
-
So will paint thinner also remove PC?
-
Kick ass, thanks for the info, I was getting ready to do a post asking how to take that chit off. Where did you get the stuff? Also, do you or anyone else know what will take off paint from a powder coated surface without removing the powder also?

That's what they're saying...know one should doubt that a worked banshee will eat any other specimens found in the sand. -

Kinda what I was thinking...maybe I'll borrow my cousin's LT250R shocks, they're a bit smaller in length(I think ) but I'd still have some suspension. -
I just said 'F-it' and let the bitches melt to the pipes. They'll get shitty looking enough someday & I'll just get the pipes ceramic coated...then I won't have this problem. I'm not worried about having a beauty queen...

Looks like SB got ya covered...I have a couple stockers laying around if you screw yours up and need to start over.

That's my best suggestion...isn't it fun! Tedious to say the least, but once you get it fingered out you're probably going to be -

bansheefreak, check out their site for infomation. I'd check out mapquest for specific driving instructions on getting there from your location. Does sound like a lot of fun... For those who have done this before...??? How do you think solid struts would work, I'm thinking of slamming the front end & also the back with some struts. Sound like a good idea or should I just take a tie-down & sinch down the front end and leave the back alone? I'll be running the -2 arm for sure. Of course I'll only be doing this providing my shee is all back together by then. -
I take it you've never tried them. But I bet you have you some FMF's... Any pipe is better than stock...I've not ran fmf so I'm not going to go there, I know they are good pipes--they've proven themselves worthy. But that sounds like a damn good deal on some PC pipes, especially if they're new. Sure you could find a fucked set of FMF's online for cheaper, I don't doubt that, but you won't find a new set for that price, I guarantee. He won't be disapointed in their performance...I'm more than happy with mine, personally even prefer them over T5's(yes I've had them too).

Changing Web Page A Little. Want To Have A Link

Check out this site...should help you out a TON! http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_examples.asp The main difference between XML and HTML XML was designed to carry data. XML is not a replacement for HTML. XML and HTML were designed with different goals: XML was designed to describe data and to focus on what data is. HTML was designed to display data and to focus on how data looks. HTML is about displaying information, while XML is about describing information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XML does not DO anything XML was not designed to DO anything. Maybe it is a little hard to understand, but XML does not DO anything. XML was created to structure, store and to send information. -
I swear I just posted this link on here... http://www.horseshoepitching.com/start.html

Grow some tits, rid yourself of a penis & get an aditional hole, stretch the legs, die your hair blond, and stand on a corner.

You can paint them but they will chip when they compress. I wouldn't dick with them until you can get them chromed...just MHO.
-
Got'r Dun! They're probably going to tell ya to piss off when they see you've got 10x the number of votes. haha Or they'll just scratch their heads & think "WTF" . Good thing this guy didn't submit, you'd be hosed. Check out this shizzle... http://www.mostemailed.com/images/misc/badNeighbour

I've gotten my head milled .030" and am still running the stock '97 pistons at 150lbs compression on each cyl. You'll be just fine, and still be able to run premium gas.
-
I primarily ride sand and would never go back to stock vs. my -2 arm. Have you tried it? I love the chit out of it, especially when airing it out at the dunes. Shweet. It can get a bit hairy while dragging, but it'll get'r dun just fine.

Glow sticks are not required. To ride at night all you need is head & tail lights. However I would recommend running one just to be safe...ya never know what can happen out there. Just ask sredish... What I'd suggest is go to WalMart somewhere on your way down there or before you leave & pick up some glowsticks...will save you a few bucks probably and you won't have to look for them when you get down there.
