  1. What is it missing exactly?
  2. Where in LA are you.
  3. Pressure washer. Although you shouldn't have any regular oil leaks. These aren't Harley's...
  4. 3.9 isn't bad. But a similar displaced banshee has ran 3.4's on motor. Either way, if true. Good job.
  5. Boring a motor is often more detrimental than leaving it the way it is. Without getting too technical, the larger the bore, the smaller the cylinder transfer area. Not a considerable loss in performance, but it is worth noting and definitely not worth bragging about. If anything I would stay away from a motor like this because if you do hurt a piston...chances are you can't bore it to fix it. A 4mm/7mm/10mm/etc is referring to the overall travel that the piston moves up and down. By increasing the stroke of a motor you can greatly increase the performance of the motor.
  6. It is hit or miss with him as far as opinions go. IMO there are better options out there.
  7. You have to spin the stacks to get it to shift on the bench. Hold a little tension on either shaft and spin the other and it will help engage the stack.
  8. More over, a broken rod can easily break a cylinder as well.
  9. Not for hours, but it was good for a face palm and a chuckle. Then I googled "you know how I know you're gay?"...no joke.
  10. They actually seal better than you think. I generally drill a hole in mine to dispense condensation. On the Honda motors I don't run a gasket and it really cuts down on flywheel rust and stator failures.
  11. You have to weld a washer to the shaft in order to keep the plastic spacer from being shoved into the cover on a kick back. If it does that it leaves quiet a mess.
  12. Haha, I censored it because I am a it is a natural habit these days. Every forum is different and it is easier to read d*ck than it is to read ****. Wasn't sure if there were word censors or not. Tough to say what you broke. But generally you can't break anything that will keep it from returning all the way. You may have slipped a spline though on the kicker? Usually if something is broken internally you'll know right away. And having an 18DMX the only thing I know about kick backs is to not let it happen. Ever. One kick back will usually break either the small primary gear on the basket, the idler gear, or the engagement gear on the kicker spindle. If you are playing with an 18 I would strongly suggest you prime the motor before trying to light it.
  13. Lmao...your descriptions are awesome. I would definitely hire you to be the translator for the Japanese/German to English instruction manuals. I call it a kicker spindle...but the technical term is kick starter axle. I break them all the time and they usually sell for 10-20 bucks. But if you can get a guy to suck your d*ck and send it to you for free...I'd go that route.
  14. Lol, wtf is a kick start perch Tyler?

    Seat

I have a seat with new 1" foam. Drilled seat pan and fresh black seat cover. 125 shipped. Very light, very comfy.
  16. You ask enough people and you'll find that problem with Crankworks, Twister, and the like. Stuff like that happens, and detonation can certainly take a good crank and turn it into crap. So it isn't always the cranks fault. I agree. I wouldn't go from a cheetah to a supercub. Your next step up would be a DM.
  17. On a small motor you may be fine. But on a bigger motor you want them to give a little. Otherwise sold mounting the bottom will break the threaded bosses off.
  18. Where you located? Maybe a local member can help you strip the motor down.
  19. It is definitely worth it IMO. But if you are dead set on a standard go pro, my cousin is selling his to go HD. I could ask what he wants for it. One of my favorite videos Another pretty cool one Some of the RC truck/buggy videos are pretty alright too.
  20. You shouldn't need to drill a hole. Just grind the 3 nubs down. You can also call Kevin and GP and he would be more than happy to walk you through it.
  21. I have the HD GoPro and it is night and day vs. the original. I would definitely spend the extra money to get the HD. The audio is just as improved as the video.
  22. Maybe because they...Oh I don't know...are a BHQ site sponsor? But what do I know Mr.90%
  23. My God, you're dense. That is not what I am saying. I am saying that a MANUFACTURER who throws a post up on a site is not allowed to post up information on his latest and greatest without helping the site that he is attempting to profit from. Then you go and post a .pdf on the same shit we just deleted? In what world do you think that is OK? Guess we know which side of 90% you fall under...
  24. That is actually not accurate. It raises the cylinder temperature because it does not offer the same thermal transfer coefficient as straight tap water. Which also means it takes longer to cool down. Coolant is only needed in high temp (raises boiling point) and low temp (lowers freezing point) while providing corrosion protection via inhibitors. It is NOT meant to lower the operating temperature of an engine.
  25. I deleted Cams thread. Because I have Shearer pipes on my ride and I am running a secret conspiracy to drive every other pipe maker out of business. Please...this is a matter of ethics and respect for the people who keep our site running. Would it be right to let an unsporsored company come in and talk about their latest and greatest on the very site another pipe maker pays to host?
