  1. I guess I can get you pictures of the domes...but they are just...domes. No dings, dents, etc in them.
  2. (stator cover is for sale too)
  3. Have a Paul Turner head. Kind of old, and don't know much about it. It has the regular pipe rub marks on the head and will need an o-ring kit. This uses the same o-ring kit as a pro-design cool head 150 shipped. Please gift or take care of the paypal fees. Pictures uploading now...
  4. Selling a 2pc billet stator cover. It is in pretty good shape, nothing to really write about as far as flaws. Just regular usage. Fresh polish on it. $160 shipped, please gift or take care of the paypal fees. Pics uploading now...
  5. Selling one of my ipods. I have a couple of them from generous relatives. This one has had a zagg cover on it from day one, so there is not a scratch on it. I'll post some pictures tomorrow 150
  6. Where in socal are you?
  7. I have to fill out some paperwork at the DMV. They'll then contact the owner, and he has 2 months to claim his property and pay the lien on it. If he doesn't I own the property. What I couldn't figure out is if I will owe taxes on the lien amount. I sure as shit don't want to pay 10% on 4k...
  8. Where did I put them down?
  9. I wouldn't have nearly that much into it. I've been an RC guy for about 10 years and have raced on a semi professional (if you'd call it that) circuit. I've raced dirt, flown/own heli's, done the airplane thing, and now I want to get into turbine. Appreciate the concern, but I got this. WREN motors are not junk, but with any nitro or turbine motor you need to maintenance it often. Jet is only 20 miles from me, but I am not down for spending 5k on their vacuum cleaner.
  10. I know what you mean, but I try to avoid things like this and give people the benefit of the doubt. Times are tough, blah blah. But it's getting a little out of hand now. That is basically what Starwriter told me to do and I'll look into a lien service tomorrow to get the ball rolling.
  11. Not really. If I receive the bike for the purposes of payment, the IRS is going to want to know and get their share of taxes I'd think. Of course this is an extreme case, but if he decides to sue me, sure...it can get serious. That is the thing, I don't know if he has rights to it. You're right, if he has no rights due to abandonment, sure...no biggie. But he holds a title and I am not sure how Cali views that. The cop fella is supposed to call me back tonight. Hopefully I'll know more soon. If it all goes through and I can part it...this is what I am going to build with the $$$
  12. Yeah, it's a long time. The only difference here is that it is all really nice stuff (even for being 5 years old). So if I sell it and he has rights to it still I sure as shit don't want to be stuck buying him new stuff. I am going to ask one of my neighbors who is a lieutenant and see what he says. Couple of my concerns were taxes (if I had to claim this) Or if the IRS would give me the stink eye for doing work on it without claiming it Or if I had to notify DMV and have THEM contact the owner via the VIN. Tricky business
  13. I am in California, I just looked into the laws here in California and they seem to be pretty vague and the term "abandoned" is at the discretion of an official. I couldn't find a pre-designated term which qualifies a vehicle as being abandoned :/
  14. Hey guys, rarely do I post, but I have an issue and I don't know how to go about resolving it. I have a guy that I did some work for about 5 years ago. He built up a bill of about 3k (still owed today) and I haven't heard from him since. I still have his bike in my shop and I am unsure of how to go about moving it. I tried calling him and he doesn't answer, I don't have his last name, and I have no idea where he lives (other than he is from out of town). So what is the legal way of going about this? I don't want his bike in my shop and he really needs to own up on some cash. Legally I know I can't part his bikes, but is there a lien process that I can go through?
  15. The guy above you said that he wanted them. I'll message him and see if he still wants them.
  16. Still have tax/shipping, but no worries. Good luck on your search. I may have a used one running around, but I'll have to look.
  17. I laughed...they are actually over $100 new. I'd do something like 70 on it.
  18. I have a new one that's still in the package...offer?
  19. I have a cryotreated dunable 1-4 transmission here that was done by DMR. I have never ran this, it was for a friend that was going to build a drag bike, but never came up with the cash to finish it. It is still in the box with the original invoice. Comes with transmission, forks, and drum. Not really sure what to ask for it..I have 320 in the work from DMR and 100 in the cryotreating. Offers?
