  1. Rebuild the carbs. Sounds like they haven't been done for awhile. The finiky starting issue could be caused by a plugged pilot jet as well. Excess oil/smoke is generally caused by it running rich. Rebuilding the carbs is easy, you should get used to doing it anyway.
  2. My dog will bite you too if you act like you are afraid of him. If he tries to bite you...kick him. He'll never bother you ever again. It is a dogs way of feeling out who is the boss.
  3. Vizio's are pretty legit TV's. I bought my 47 LCD Vizio a few years back. It popped a power supply about 6 months ago so I bought one off of ebay for 100 bucks and sent it back on its way. He is right...Vizio's have an awesome picture, great features, and the best remotes on the market (they light up at night so you can see what buttons you're pushing). Problem is their customer service sucks. Good news is...Costco sells them
  4. You should always put sealer around the crank seal. It is good insurance. I also put 1211 on the key, small primary gear, and the waterpump gear because oil can get into your crankcase via the woodruff key. Last thing you want is to take the thing apart if it leaks. It doesn't happen often. But it does happen.
  5. A lot of guys interested. No $ yet though. PM's returned
  6. I have an almost new Hinson spring loaded basket with straight cut gears. Paid 700 new for it. Has 2 passes. Selling it for 500.
  7. All stock. Fresh rebuild on lower end. Has a solid stock crank in it. Transmission/forks looked good, and the cases are perfect. Nothing wrong with it at all. No electronics. 500 plus shipping.
  8. That sure is a stylish seat Bobby
  9. Lets see your trophy collection.
  10. Buttering me up won't convince me to let you ride my Honda. Well...ok, maybe.
  11. HP doesn't mean much if it isn't quick. I think that hillbilly busa had 450ish hp but was only comparable to a good running twin banshee. A true 180 at the wheels would be a spread bore 800+cc twin.

    If my wife

He rides a Husqvarna. What do you expect?
  13. Depends if it is ported. T-rex's run like crap unless they have a lot of time spent in them. If they are ported by a reputable company. Yes. If they are not ported. No.
  14. He wishes that it would run 3.40's. It also clipped a 3.59, so it is more or less a 3.60 bike. I knocked him out of the PS race last Gilbert
  15. Oh, I would have loved to input something on this, but I skipped a few pages of the circle jerk. If you have any questions other than "worthless" I would be glad to help you out.
  16. You still talking about those billet cylinders? I couldn't help it...sorry.
  17. Quit being an ass bag cheerleader. He is one of the best builders in the world. More so than HJR and any other guy in AZ. FWIW, I don't own a D&M motor and never have. I just know the man has amazing talent when it comes to making power.
  18. This thread was all sorts of lol. Just wanted to say thanks for the laughs
  19. Not sure why you would let that guy ride it when I will be there. Even his old lady says I am a better rider! See you guys tomorrow.
  20. Yup, overpriced. When they buy a china crank, balance it and sell it for 750 bucks (200 less than a FULL billet crank), that is overpriced. When they charge $75 an hour and 20 hours ($1500) to assemble a motor...that is overpriced. When you are paying 1450 dollars for a cheetah cub top end that sells everywhere else for 875...they are overpriced. Or $225 per piston..etc. etc. etc. it goes on and on my friend. However, I did some research for you, and I will PM you some of the things I found out. You would be very surprised.
  21. There are some decent builders in that area, but D&M is top 8 in the country when it comes to getting the most hp out of a motor.
  22. I don't agree that there is less drag/friction with a single ring. One ring does not support the piston like a dual ring does, and as a result the skirt of the piston makes more contact with the cylinder wall. Don't forget that the ring is an essential heat transfering component in your motor. You will experience a lot more heat on the crown of your piston with only one ring. You would be surprised to note that a 4-wheeled device transfers a lot more of the engine vibration than a 2-wheeled vehicle. Look, not to jump on ya here...because I am really just trying to help. But it sounds like you are going off of what you are told, and not what you know. I think it would be best if you called a few of the American companies and see if they can't make you more horsepower for less money. Yeah, I know shipping is a pain in the rear, but I would much rather give my money to USPS international, than TSS (who is insanely overpriced).
