Green, are you running a short rod or long rod stroker? Does it have a spacer plate? You can't run a non-stroker dome if you have a long rod crankshaft.

I call bullshit on the shop. A popped clip won't ruin your crank. Get your junk back and take it to somebody trustworthy.

It's either: 1) Idle adjustment (in either cable or idle screw if you have one) 2) Lean 3) Air leak

I have one. It is in GREAT shape. No rust, and very little wear at all from kicking it. Looks close to new.
