  1. the oil will build up on the plug and foul it out and being that there's no radiator fan, all that heat isn't dissipated very well due to lack of air flow.
  2. Leak down test I would think.
  3. I'm running easy Springs in my 35pwks. Got then from fast and I ride trails on my bike Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  4. You can run any piston you want. Should have it honed/bored to the specific needs of that piston though. Forged is lighter and will let the engine rev faster though. Never go back to cast Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe after a trip to the dyno to get it dialed! Hardest part is getting someone else that wants to go with a full size truck. My S10 isn't real happy towing a banshee and my girlfriends grizzly but if I had to, I could roll down on my own
  6. Just got off the phone with Jeff at fast, what an awesome guy to talk to. He's getting me setup with the parts I need to get this engine back together. Cannot wait to see how it runs after this Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. In the grease grooves of the crank seals Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  8. I did notice that little mark you're talking about, I'll watch that when it goes back together. I'm going to use waterproof grease this time too as recommended by sleeper06. He said it'll hold up the best long term. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  9. Alright, got my refund from HJR, shipped his crank back this morning. Im going to get the new crank on the way so I can build my engine next weekend. 4mil hot rods crank 2 max load bearings Fresh copper washers for the head and an extra set of dome of rings just in case. My crank seals were brand new a month ago and they look fine, I have new gaskets. Anything else? And does anyone know if fast will put the new bearings on the crank for me? 10. If you don't know what a cub is, you probably aren't ready for one or the cost that comes with building one. Hope your pockets are deep! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  11. This. Call noss, redline, or fast and tell them what you want.
  12. Lesson learned because next time I'll turn to the forum members first before assuming a site sponsor can do no wrong. I'm not ready for pipes yet but once I am, I will consult here first
  13. That I couldn't tell you. I'm in the US, frames are everywhere here Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. buy a different frame with a title and clean numbers. I doubt Yamaha will give a damn honestly, if they even keep records like that.
  15. damn haha I have nothing for that one. It was a lesson learned though. Crank is going back tomorrow morning, and them im calling Jeff at fast to place an order
  16. I think sleeper might get my cylinders and cases this winter for some extra work not convinced my "mx hardcore" port is as hardcore as I was told it would be
  17. Someone correct me if im wrong, but being a 2 stroke, wouldn't the whole case have to fill with fuel?
  18. If the cylinders are full of fuel you need to find out why. The issue will be in the carbs, float height, bad needle or seat. Thats all that could cause that issue.
  19. MX hardcore from Herr Jugs racing? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  20. Man you should create one general thread instead of 6 new ones a day, just my .02 Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  21. Yes they do. $30 each vs 60 each from fast. Thanks for the heads up Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  22. learned something there then. I thought max loads were really only for stator side of the crank. good to know and I shall do that
  23. In that case.....might just stick to OEM or the stock hot rods bearing and run a full c clip
  24. I don't see what it could hurt. Is there a reason NOT to run them?
  25. half the shit i've bought for my bike came from cascade.
