  1. He's roughly 2.5 hours one way. I really need to make the trip down to him and get it sorted out. I've spent so much getting this bike where I want it but I feel the engine just isn't 100% Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  2. I feel pretty good about my plug chop, this was 160 mains, I upped up to 162s after that. I will say that I feel as though the bike should be faster. I have felt that way since I first raced at Busco. It's definitely faster than stock, but a part of me is feeling a little disappointed about shelling out those bills and still getting occasionally outrun by a 450
  3. I retract my timing statement. It's currently +5. I debated calling noss and having a new set of domes shipped to me. I was told by Kan that squish should be 50 thousandths Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  4. Kevin at HJR sent me all of it. I told him I was running pump gas. I don't remember the specs on my domes either but I think they were 23cc Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. the yfz calipers are a direct swap, the only thing you will need to do is trim the debris shield out a tad since the calipers dimensions are physically larger
  6. When I was riding it this past Sunday on a fresh sprocket I noticed it wanted to lift the front end a lot more, I'm sure that's because there's less play in the chain/sprocket now. It actually surprised me the first time I made a pull on asphalt but even in grass and dirt she kept lifting the nose whereas before it would, but not near as easy Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. .066 squish, timing is +6. 140psi compression. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  8. Clutch is a tusk HD, 3 tusk Springs and 3 Toomeys. That setup has 2 days riding on it. I'm not opposed to going up a tooth or two. In 300' I'm not in 6th so I'm sure I could, up drop one up front. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  9. In the past I've launched my banshee in 2nd gear and it's always been hit or miss. Sometimes it launches beautifully and other times it bogs down as soon as the load hits it. Recently I ruined my rear sprocket (teeth broken and bent forward) and when I let the clutch out it was just skipping teeth. So I went to a steel rear, same tooth count. Now it will not launch in 2nd at all. Just bogs right to nothing. I tried dumping the clutch, I tried slipping it, moving forward on the seat, different amounts of throttle, even aired the tires up hoping to break them loose easier. I feel as though the carbs aren't the issue as it has plenty of power throughout the power band when just riding around and 1st gear launches just stand the front end straight up. So what gives? Launching on dirt 15/40 gears 21/11/9 holeshots at 2-4psi Hjr ported 4 mil Stock swinger
  10. you replied to a 2 year old thread about exhaust clamps????
  11. I just email them. Jeff or cody get back to me within minutes. Ive never had good luck calling
  12. I forgot to check mine, I will today when I get home but mine didn't come with O-rings for the boots, the intake boot has a raised rib on the back side though, and I got all the gaskets and hardware with mine.
  13. Where is the mikuni name located? I'll check mine out. In the mean time....this is from Kevins site, but now I'm curious. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. He sells chariot intakes. I got mine from him with my top end parts. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  15. Yfz450 swap for the win. I got calipers and a master for 120 shipped off of a part out bike. The difference is awesome Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  16. Haven't run one of those but I have an import cap from summit, pretty nice, easier to read since all I have to do is look down to see if I'm in the yellow or red. When im drag racing its nice, I know when it's time to take a short break
  17. Update! after getting my a arms swapped, brakes on, and having to overnight a double banjo bolt from summit....I have them done. The difference is amazing. I will say that on loose surfaces, they basically just lock up instantly but when used with the rears also it isn't so bad. On asphalt or packed dirt, I could really see the difference and it is night and day. I 100% think it is worth the money
  18. Kevin ported my stock cylinders on my 4mil, they look great and he had them done in half the time he originally thought. I also went all in and got 35mm pwks on my setup and man does it get down. Hoping to get up with SurfJag for a dyno session one day and see what it puts down
  19. just bought 2008 yfz450 calipers and master cylinder. Should have them this week and my lonestar arms next week. Once I get it all on I'll let you know just how worth it the upgrade is. I gave 120 shipped for it all off a MX part out bike so I know its all good
  20. people like that should not reproduce. Is tapping the carb body that hard? I mean, the idle screw kit is what? $25?? It has instructions
  21. I recently had a similar issue. Had just built my 4 mil, was running fine, but when I shut it off I noticed a chatter on my left side. So I started it back up and could hear it at idle. Pulled my stator cover off and took the flywheel nut off, and the flywheel came right out. Not sure how it got loose but I checked the crank, no damage, key was fine, flywheel was fine. So I got it back together and its been fine since then. no more noise
  22. Its pretty easy. Just pull the clutch cover off and the gear will be on the backside. Remove it and the impeller will come out the oppsite side. replace the seal and your new parts and back together it goes. I also recommend a water pump cover with a drain, makes it a lot easier to recover most of your coolant.
  23. If the tors is deleted, they have to have idle screws or they will not run.
  24. I wont sell my sync tool but I have a pair of stocks, tors deleted with some extra parts Freshly rebuilt (2 days of riding on them) extra pair of rebuilds (plus old parts I took out) 25/27.5 pilots 250/260/270/290 mains k&n pods with outerwears (2 days of riding on these) new carb tops. Only thing you would need is a new cable. I reused mine when I went to pwk's Really need to sell them, would ship it all for 150 came off of a running bike, no issues. just went bigger
  25. Just read through all this. LOLOLOLOLOL but I pay 10 a gallon at the speed shop for my 110vp
