  1. I've ran 100ll for over a decade in ~800cc 2 stroke jetskis. Ran it in the banshee for a while, but decided to just go pump gas. I've never had an issue. fwiw. Is it as good a race gas, no. Is it cheaper, yes.
  2. That's good to hear! Glad it wasn't something more severe. Get some valve grinding compound and lap the flywheel to the taper. Make sure you loctite the bolt.
  3. Alright so I'm going to this thing. What camp sites are you guys staying at?
  4. You could try to find a Sundahl Banshee frame. May be costly and hard to come by though.
  5. What are u measuring thats 20 psi? Are you using a vacuum gauge or a flow meter? I usually set idle to around 1500rpm and use a flow meter to sync the idle screws. Verify that there is slack on the throttle cable. Turn the idle screws out and if the slides don't bottom out, then the cable doesn't have enough play. You may have to adjust the low speed jet to get acceptable idle. What carbs and jets?
  6. http://www.dfn.com/agservices/elecfaq.html Verify everything is plugged in. Get a DMM and test Stator, Coil, Plug Caps. Check Wiring harness for continuity between connectors. Test a known working CDI. How did you bypass the key by tying the black and red wires together? Have you tried unplugging the Tors? If your harness is messed up, buy a new one here https://www.facebook.com/kompulsiveconcepts/
  7. Yeah, the rattle is why I figured he should tear it apart. I was scared something may let go of he got it restarted.
  8. If you hydro locked it and its making a weird noise, the you probably bent or broke a rod. Stop kicking it over. Might as well pull the motor out and take the top end off. Take pictures so we can see. Alternatively, take the spark plugs out and kick it over and see how much fuel shoots out.
  9. The same ones recommended. JJH needles. Pilots probably somewhere between 45 and 50. Main somewhere between 145 and 165. Start big and work down.
  10. Bearings, Piston slap, flywheel rattle, kicker gear, gear mesh noise, basket bushings, clutch chatter, lockup noise (if applicable), etc. No one knows. post a video.
  11. bracket: https://www.jdscustoms.com/product/nology-coil-bracket-yamaha-banshee/ Coil is a Nology PFC-03D
  12. This guide helps tremendously. https://www.duncanracing.com/s/KeihinCarbJetting-2015.pdf
  13. Seriously, 4mil banshees sell for $3500 to 4000 here in the Midwest. Have you looked around?
  14. Buying a running banshee is going to be cheaper than trying to get that running. VIN section cut out and welded back in is going to be a red flag if LEO ever inspects the quad.
  15. Guarantee those are casting flaws. Is your premix red? What color is your trans oil? Is it dripping from the drain holes in the case?
  16. Use tapatalk on a phone to post picks
  17. https://www.bansheehq.com/bansheehq-sponsors/ In no specific order. Redline, FAST, Driveline, Wicked, Powerline, Mac Daddy, Herr Jugs, Probably others. Discuss your goals and price range. Also check https://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/forum/27-product-reviews/ and https://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/forum/55-dyno-room/
  18. If you have 34mm pwk carbs, then they are cheap chinese carburetors. Definitely try some different carbs.
  19. Probably lean seized. Take the head off and look. If this is the case, you are going to want to figure out why it happened. Go through carbs, check jetting, clean petcock, ect.
  20. Awesome post. This needs stickied.
