  1. Ohhhh, very tempting. I'll pm you Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  2. Getting tired of my fireball +6 swingarm. Thinking I want something shorter, Anyone with with similar mods to me, what length swingarm are you liking at LSOK? It was great when I was less experienced, but now I'm struggling with some agility and traction. Setup: I forget the RO, but tire size is 21x12x8 Skat Extremes 421 Serval (pretty sure its a cleanup port, bought second hand), 24cc, pump gas. SBIF Shearers Old Style Fireball LT so CG is moved forward a little.
  3. Smart Carbs have never worked well for banshees. Stick with Keihin PWK 33 or 35, non air-strikers.
  4. Just adding to this. I've run a Dynatek for like 4 years now. But, it is worthless without a programmer. Super nice to be able to adjust timing with the flip of a switch.
  5. Reeds can affect jetting marginally. Main difference is worn out cracked reeds make the engine act rich. Replace old reeds with new and see how it runs. Adjust jetting as needed. I think you'll be happier with the 27.5 pilot since you have pods.
  6. Adding to a 12 year Necro post,.. But, if you ever need to compare needles. This is the site to do it. https://kyajet.de/?lang=en
  7. The case halves have sealant between them. They didn't seal part of the case for some reason leading to an air leak. Then went chasing their tail with jetting due to said air leak. This post is 10 years old. If you have a problem, make a new thread.
  8. Swap the spark plug leads, If the miss follows the wire, Cut the wire back and retest. Use DMM to check continuity of the boot. Replace Boot if no continuity. Clean the carbs. A plugged jet can cause issues Sync the carbs at idle using the idle screws. Then back the throttle adjuster out until the rpm raises and sync the carbs using the adjuster on the top of the carbs. Return throttle adjuster at throttle to just a bit of free play. Check for leaks around reeds/intake with some carb cleaner, if idle changes, possible leak. Reseal intake. Check for broken reeds. Adjust air screws for idle. Verify exhaust not plugged with a mouse nest, acorns, ect. Check compression. If below 100 rebuild.

  10. Ask Dave Moore. He seems to like TM carbs,
  11. If old plugs, then who knows. Pretty easy to take the head off and check what domes are in there. SHOULD be scribed in the edge of the dome.
  12. BHQ is now BidenHQ

  13. Oh, well good to know. Didn't see them on your website. Welp, shouldn't be an issue then. Are they HP or LP?
  14. I would stay away from that. Apparently it is a set of Driveline Cylinders that now have steel sleeves pressed into them.
  15. BHQ rise from the dead now that Tapatalk works.

  16. Booked my site for Walking hills, Where ever that is. BTW looks like they are switching to wristband kiosks this year. Hopefully that's not a clusterfuck.
  17. You'll probably need a new throttle cable too.
  18. Salmon Arm Salute

  19. Just run a hose from the cap and angle it down like stock. The tiny breather has a ball to act as a check valve and as oil and dirt mix in the check valve area, it gets plugged. This creates a vacuum in the tank leading to your carburetor bowls running dry, leading to a stuck piston. It's happened enough that it is ingrained into everyone to point out how bad those are.
  20. Ditch the inline filter and clean your tank. Just take the tank off and clean it out. Super easy.
  21. Buy an oversized radiator, any after market impeller as long as it has a hardened shaft. Run water mixed with enough coolant additive to prevent any galvanic corrosion ( I believe its like 15% for most additives) Ensure that you are not detonating any, as that can spike temperature.
