Got Caught Driving Without A License.
blk02banshee replied to Zac's topic in General Banshee Discussion
take both your parents with you to court if you can. for some reason it helps. My sister rolled my parents minivan 5 times in front of a cop when she was 15, and the judge said he was happy to see both my parents there, so he let her off with a warning! I do agree though....play stupid. tell him he'll never see you in that court again, just be careful not get a ticket or anything later, cause then he'll really nail your ass. -
Easter is just like a normal day there, except for the eggs. YOu just ride like you normally would, and if you come across an egg, take it to the office ant the give you aftermarket stuff. Last year there was only a handfull of people there, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Ray, it's definately worth the trip for a weekend. The have campgrounds right there on the property, too.

It's ok to hold it in, as long as you're in the right gear for the speed you're going. If you are in 6th, and downshift to 1st, but you're going fast still, the clutch spins too fast and heats that shaft and ball up.

well if you're having easter early, then you can ride on easter, right. Me and the girlfriend will be there. They do an egg hunt where you find eggs with numbers on them and turn them in for parts and stuff. oh yeah, I was there last sunday too. I blew my sidewall of my front tire after the first 10 minutes of riding, bought a set of tires from the badlands store, and spent most of the day trying to find a place that could break the beads for me. I ended up plugging it and riding for 2 hours .

I'm pretty sure that an ohm meter is the only way to test it, and heard that you can get false readings. My friend had that happen on his husqvaurna coil. He had it tested and it tested good, but would'nt spark right, so he kept replacing parts with no luck, and after replacing the coil that was supposedly good, it turned out to be the problem.

The air pressure thing works, but does'nt always get the dent totally out. I've also used a dent puller. had to drill a hole, to pull the dent and then weld the hole shut. My friend has one of those dent pullers that welds a peg to the metal, pull the dent with slide hammer and then just clip off the peg with sidecutters when your done.

Has Any Ever Heard Of This Product

lol, it reminds me of something...remember "roost boost"? -
The dealer said to go smaller? I knew a guy that had just got new pipes, and someone told him that leaner is faster, and told him to go from 200 mains to 160! Lets just say his motor did'nt last long. I'm at 700 ft, around 30 degreesF pro circuit pipes, pro design foam filter, no snorkel, and v-force reeds. I'm jetted at 330 mains, 27.5 pilots, and needles in stock(middle) position. airscrews around 2 turns out. You'll definately need to be iaround 300 for the mains, and those pipes do like a big pilot. I was at 30 until I got the reeds, and then had to go down.

If it was, I'd be guaranteed to have off of work and I could say I'd definately be there, but memorial day is May 30th. I'm still gonna try to make it, either way.

When I was 17, I had a 72 cutlass and I was making a left hand turn onto a 4 lane road in the rain. traffic was backed up for a stoplight, and an old guy was nice and let me out. I proceeded cautiously, and this ass in a jeep wrangler flew around traffic into the inside lane, did'nt even try to stop, and I could'nt go, cause of the rain(traction non existant). He T-boned me so hard, I hit both doors, and my car literally bent in half. You know what? That bastard sued ME. Yes, He had the right of way, and I got a ticket for "failure to yield on a left turn" According to the law, I was the one at fault, even though that guy was speeding, AND had plenty of room to try to stop. I don't think they'll be able to get anything out of you, if it was them who pulled out in front of you.
-
Man, that really sucks! Is there any evidence that you tried to stop? like tire marks? The outcome could come down to that. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine. he was driving his mint 79 dodge pickup(he loved that thing), and some guy swerved into his lane and hit him head on and his truck hit another car with 2 old ladys in it. The guy who caused it had no liscense and no insurance, so the 2 old ladys have been suing my friend, since they could'nt get anything out of the other guy. He's been battling those old ladys now for 4 years! (and by the way, those old ladys did'nt even get a scratch)

LMFAO ...so true. yamalube is good oil. I have put it through the test, and trust it. I have NEVER had a bearing or ring failure, and never fouled a plug. I've been using it for years in everything I have that's 2-stroke, and even when I freshen up a motor, everything like the crank, rods, bearings, and pistons look like new. It says a lot about an oil, when you take apart a 4 year old engine, and can still see tool marks in the pistons and crosshatch in the cylinders.

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass getting banshee pilots. Here's a few places that WILL have the right ones. This first place is the only one I deal with for mikuni parts. Fox Distr., inc. 630-513-9700 sudco int. 323-728-5407 White Bros. 714-692-3404 If you call to order them, you need to specify style M28/1001 and whatever SIZE you want. I believe you can order them online from sudco. Shit, if you need 30s, I have a pair I could mail you, cause I only live a couple miles from Fox distributing, and can pick up new ones any time. I'm using 27.5 right now anyway.
-
Actually, Yamalube is a very good oil
-
Here's one. The style # is M28/1001

the dude on the 400 could be a really good rider, which will make him harder to beat no matter what machine he's on. Weight makes a big difference, too, but not quite as much on pavement. A lean or rich condition makes a HUGE difference for a banshee. GET THAT THING TUNED! Then race again . THere's nothing wrong with getting beat, you just keep tuning, modding and racing, till you do beat the guy. THat's what makes drag racing fun.
