  1. Politics are a joke. We're screwed no matter who is in. Our country (and possibly the world) is run by a secret society, and it does'nt matter who you vote for, because they already have the guy picked out.
  2. what I got out of that, is the weight of the outer part of the flywheel and the diameter has more effect than the weight of the flywheel as a whole. Basically, if you could make the center of the flywheel weightless, it would still function the same, because it's the outer diameter mass that does the work. for example, if you could shave the same weight by elongating the holes on a banshee flywheel, as shaving the outer part like boonman does, it would have less effect on rotating mass, because the holes are closer to the center of the flywheel.
  3. My girlfriend has one of those, now lol. Her first bike was a honda enduro 125. she got that when she was 11.
  4. YES! that's a good one!
  5. Maybe you can get your lenses tinted. My friend's wife works at an optometrist, and she can tint any kind of lens, just about any color. Not sure how it would last with the heat of the bulbs, though.
  6. My first ride was a cat(I think) mini chopper. That thing was so bad ass. lol My first three wheeler was a kawi KLT 200, and first streetbike(that I rode legally lol) was and still is a 78 CB750 F. I also had 74 kz400, 77 rm80, 78 rm125, 75 XL250, 75 XL350, 70something MX100, 80something kawasaki bayou, 94 blaster, and an old 50cc suzuki scooter.
  7. "SNOT SLING'N TRASHED"
  8. I saw that test, and I think they used straight water with it and no antifreeze. I used water wetter and switched to engine ice and had better results. No more overheating.
  9. I wonder if that's gonna make it a bitch to get mine fixed . I bought one a few months ago(kodak dx6340 3.1 mp), and got another one free with our new computer. The one we bought has problems with the dust shutter, and the battery door cracked in 4 places, and not from opening or closing it. . The store we bought it at said they can't do anything, and that we'd have to contact kodak, but we e-mailed them several times and heard nothing, so I guess their customer service sucks ass.
  10. For them to work correctly, the tube of the dial a jet has to be PERFECTLY perpendicular to the carb bore (90 degrees).
  11. i'll take one! maybe 2 or 3!
  12. If you have stock jetting with the K&N and no snorkle, you could be way lean. Depends on your elevation, though.
  13. Tires. If you are running stock tires, you might have a little trouble, but depends on the course. I have'nt raced one yet, but have seen a lot of harescramble courses, and I think stock tires would suck.
  14. I have them, and TOTALLY agree with what BansheeBrian just said.
  15. IT's funny, cause just a few days ago I changed my plugs and I could'nt get the boot all the way down, and found out the plug top was still in the boot! I was thinking WTF? MY threads were ok, though. I scratched my head for about 20 minutes, wondering why. I thought maybe vibration made them turn, so I tightened them with some pliers.
  16. For a decent freeride bike, you can expect to spend at least $5-6,000 US. That aint no shit, either.
  17. Jim, there's a place here in aurora that does powdercoating and sandblasting. I'm not sure what their prices are like, though.
  18. I like those baja bumpers a lot, but to tell you the truth, I don't think I can afford it right now, anyway.
  19. wow, I guess I don't have long
  20. Ouch! Dont get me started on that lucas crap aka instant foam. "where there is air there is not lubrication" check this out http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/images/lucas/lucas.htm That's very interesting! Thanks. I was wondering about that, too, how it would act at higher speeds and tighter clearences. It definatly makes sense, the lucas does what it's supposed to, but only at extremely slow speeds. I'm not using that shit anymore.
  21. I get mine at Farm and Fleet, or Pep Boys.
  22. Do you have a picture of the bumper?
  23. is the pipe going on straight? if it's a little crooked, it can leak. I bought pro circuits used and had to tweak them slightly to make them fit properly. Never leaked.
  24. Yes, they can get out of alignment, but as long as you don't have too high of compression, and no porting, the stock one should last quite a while. Getting the crank welded is a good thing, though.
  25. There's this stuff called "STEAM" comes in a black can. get it at the auto parts store. you get the motor warm, then spray this stuff on it. it'll foam up, let it sit for a few minutes, and then hose it off. I used it on my truck, and it was awsome.
