Alright thanks for your help Tricked, hopefully I will have everything in tomorrow and I can start her up. Also I just want to check, if you can spin the flywheel by just your hand but it takes a little push, does that mean the compression is low?
I don't know man, it looks pretty sturdy to me. I put the stator back on and everything lines up, I just got to elongate the hole for the holes next to that sensor.
I snovel snow and do other random tasks during the winter. Just is my plate good enough to run? I want to buy a Vapor system for $90 when I get paid but not if I have to spend $40 for a timing plate.
Actually the stock one seems very stiff. It's aluminum, right? I mounted it somewhat up. I gotta clean up the holes. The one holding that sensor needs to be cleaned up. My drill's battery died so I put that on the charger so I'm done for the night. I will give more details tomorrow.
Pretty much makes your bike less of a bitch to start and to keep it idling. Also allows more space and is easier to work on the carbs that way. Also you want to buy the kit with the idle screws so that the slides are held up by these screws. They are originally set by those TORS boxes you will remove.
Well got my flywheel puller in early. And of course my dad doesn't listen to me and buys it from none other than Ray. At least it works. Still he paid $5 more than average.
I am actually starting to think that now lol I got a friend on fb that just bought a motor from him listed as "perfectly working" when the water pump leaked into the case, the too end was blown and the reed cages were cracked. Gave Ray $1500 to have it shipped from Michigan to Florida.
