  2. Lol ok. If I fuck up I will just buy an adjustable lol. I still got to wait for my flywheel puller Friday so it won't be until then that I can do it.
  3. I am thinking about just drilling it now. Could I just measure out 4mm on each mounting point, mark it, and punch a hole in it with a drill instead of dremelling it out and creating a slot? Then it would have 2 holes. One stock position, one 4 degrees advanced.
  4. Well I thought there wasn't supposed to be anything until I found out my dopy cousin out the gasket on the wrong way. Alright thanks, I will go wipe it with the brake cleaner and WD-40 tomorrow. And yeah I heard about the threads being reverse going into the flywheel. I got a 19.2V Craftsman 1/2" drive impact I will be using. I will make sure it's tight and I won't go crazy on the trigger.
  5. Ok I decided to just fuck it and tear into the flywheel side of the motor. Fucking cousin put red loctite on everything for the pegs and flywheel cover so I had a fun time with that. I went online today and ordered a flywheel puller for $15 on eBay so I will take it off Friday and I will get enough money Sunday so I can order a brand new Billet Mattoon from eBay for $45. I however need you opinions on some things I found. First off is I pulled the cover off and a few drops came out but that was it. Come to find out my cousin put the gasket on backwards. Here's some pics. Also I saw a screw was corroded.
  6. Lmao thanks for telling me that the name is different. Had a hard time figuring that out. When I look online it seems like my Gold Series are bigger and the curve is smaller. I am almost defident on the size difference because people put the Fatty's on no problem and my cousin had to cut the plastics around it for it to fit. I also have a friend on fb who just got his bike a few months ago and he has the exact same pipes with PowerCore 2's. He only lives a few cities away from me but he doesn't go to Silver Lake.

  11. Because he said that the DNR wouldn't approve it. He didn't take it through the entrance but he supposedly looked it up online and put the stock silencers on. Here in Michigan the DNR are strict. You're exhaust has to have a spark arrestor and has to be equal to or less than I think 96dB. I'm sure they are just PowerCore 2's. He said he bought everything in a kit. The pipes, boost bottle and RAM valve. He said that the boost bottle sucked ass so he took it off. Also the headers are labeled "Gold Series" and not Fatty. Is there a difference?
  12. Ok I will find out what silencers he bought when he digs them out. Like I said it could just be scrap aluminum. Anyone want to take bets on if they got melted or not?
  13. Ok thanks. Do you know if you could choose different silencers in an FMF pipe combo when you buy them from FMF? My cousin bought the pipes when he had the bike and I'm not sure what silencers they are and he has yet to give them to me. He sad that the shed he had those silencers in (and where he used to keep the Banshee) had burned down during a storm so I'm not sure if they are melted down.

I want to run my PowerCore 2 silencers at Silver Lake next year but I've heard that they don't have spark arrestors and I know from personal experience that the DNR checks you numerous times at the entrance for spark arrestors. Is there any type of end cap attachment that you can put on that makes the end cap have a spark arrestor?

  17. Yes that is usually where I get my gas from is BP but down there I go to Chevron. There are no Chevron's in Michigan, they are all down south.
  18. Hmmmm. I went from here in Michigan to Florida twice and filled up in each state out of the times and I run 91 octane in my truck and everyone had it for midgrade.
  19. Hmmm. I have filled up at Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida and all serve them in Regular - 87 Midgrade - 91 and Premium - 93 and I always run Premium in my Shee.
  20. But the thing that separates it all is that it comes with "PREMIUM MOTHERFUCKING GASOLINE (91 octane)" even though premium grade gas is 93 octane :/
