  1. make sure carbs are sync. you have crossover tube on carbs? you can try 30 pilot/280 main. Turn air screw in one full turn to see if it helps Try one suggestion at a time and test. Don't do all these things at once thinking, its gotta be fixed now. If you pull carbs, the reed cages are sitting in the cylinders, pull those out and check your reeds for breaks, cracks and they should be closed. the reeds should be resting on the cage
  2. You say compression was checked, how much? Stock 250r should come outta the box at around 170, not 125 like banshee
  3. To make needle richer move it up which means move clip down. Does it cold start easy? with choke? without choke? Have you checked your reeds? ^^ beat me to it
  4. I bought a trans from him and was shipped quickly to another member as requested. Thanks
  5. From what I have seen on this site, your pipes like a 30 pilot.
  6. Your yamaha shop may be capable of rebuilding your banshee. IDK, The price sounds high to us. Your at their mercy it sounds like. Have you considered checking on shipping prices to US? Lots of banshee guys here that will talk to you and get you on track
  7. REALLY? Them C S's never invited me to their circle jerk and sing along.
  8. 400ex tires = ohtsu MR 501
  9. John, I use to watch the little rascals (re-runs btw) then go play with a combat wombat. Figure that one
  10. If your interested in the ones we talk about on shout box, PM me. stockers with rebuild kit, tors delete. I can put what ever jets you need or you can use your own Pics if you want
  11. Your ready to put it together with clean carbs. Do you know where your jetting should be?. Sync carbs.
  12. No, your only testing crank and cylinder area for leaks. The tranny is suppose to vent
  13. Keep in mind that if you have an airleak, your going to be chasing a tune on your carbs from now on. I did not see that you performed a leakdown test. Very important. Also need those carbs taken apart and cleaned. They may be fine but you don't know. Need to see what jets you have anyway
  14. You can have a lean bog or a rich bog. See how many turns your air screw is turned out from lightly seated (all the way in) If they are 1.5 turns out, go one full turn in and test for bog. If bog gets worse, go back to 1.5 plus one full turn out more and test again. Do both carbs.
