  1. I've been giving this some thought. Crazy problem you have here. Only thing that kills a plug is gas fouling, an old car trick was to just set the plug wires on the dist cap to make an air gap for the spark to jump, supposedly increasing it. So possibly you have weak spark and it simply won't fire a used (wet) plug. No one here likes anything electrical except OEM for the most part. I'd swap out parts individually with a friend if possible. Ohm test the plug caps (they have a built in resistor) Someone in recent memory had a new one that was bad.
  2. Slides in the correct carbs? Bowls on the correct carbs?
  3. Banshees put out AC current. The relay that came with your bar kit will not work with AC current.
  4. That's coming from the hose on the back of the head to the tube in the clutch cover.
  5. Some aftermarket clutch perches require a cable housing spacer. And for the record, I completely disagree with that video. No reason not to adjust it by the manual. Unless shit in the case is worn out.
  6. BP has had mixed reviews, Brian has had nothing but excellent reviews.
  7. Although, for intakes, I've used Manila file folders, beer boxes, and no gasket just yamabond.
  8. I bought 4 or 5 pack of Felpro 12" squares of different gasket material to make a thicker gasket for the gas cap. It came with a list of what each was rated for. IIRC, that one wasn't for fuel. Maybe the parts store could answer for sure.
  9. Bottle jack and spread the frame just a bit, Sawzall the bolt on each side of the swingarm. Done. Won't harm anything but the bolt.
  10. No, they blew because they aren't going to work on AC voltage, and the 55W is equivalent output, not draw.
  11. splice in the taillight wire, that way it is before the hi/low switch and won't connect the two individual circuits.
  12. Toomey Racing USA shows stinger pipes for T6 only, so I'd say they are different.
  13. I'm sure it would be a huge air leak without it in the hole and lean rev. Hold your finger over it and start to test
  14. A guy on FB just had the exact same problem, ended up being cracked intake boots.
  15. But not onto the floor, and not next to a gas water heater.
  16. If you didn't blow yourself up sucking fuel with a shop vac, you'll be fine mixing different brand oils. Seriously, that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
  17. The bike it's made for has a vacuum operated fuel pump. Plug them, don't just connect them with a hose.
  18. Do your new 28's have a brass nipple on top that is a vacuum leak if not plugged? Some do.
  19. I cut reliefs with cut off wheel in a second puller to make a thread chaser. But I'm no engineer.
