  1. depending on year, stock can be 9" or 10" you want each wheel wider or the actual track width?, which would be offset
  2. Here's some 8's... https://www.ebay.com/itm/DWT-Polished-Rear-Wheels-Sport-Blue-8-8x10-4-115-Yamaha-Raptor-YFZ450-Banshee/362751878159?epid=537189091&hash=item5475b2640f:g:OS0AAOSw65FXsiC2
  3. what diameter? And why 10" wide?
  4. Did you have it bored for the new pistons?
  5. FMF recommends a 30 pilot, most go with 27.5 with no problems. Sure you don't have an air leak?
  6. Did it sit for a period of time before it started acting up? If so, check the pipes for nests.
  7. 96's don't have a park brake switch and rev limiter.
  8. You certainly still have a overflow, just not a recovery/reservoir tank.
  9. Fill to just above the core tubes. Heat will expand any more than that and puke it out.
  10. And you'll want the relay on the DC side of the rectifier, they won't trigger with AC current.
  11. I buy universal fog light relays at O'reilly's, they have the schematic on the blister pack.
  12. I mis-spoke, Black to Red/black, should be the 2 heavier gauge wires.
  13. ^^^That^^ and to jump the key switch, connect the Black/Red and Red together
  14. HaHa, Yep, that one is pressurized too.
  15. Parking brake rev limiter and TORS are 2 separate systems, ALL Banshee came with TORS and only 97 up had the brake rev limiter. The TORS is a go/no go system. Anyway just a FYI.
  16. They kick over easier than anything, even freshly rebuilt. I had an LT80 years ago with stuck rings, (very low compression) it would start cold but not warm, opposite of what you'd think. Come to think of it, I also had a 67 Fairlane GT with a worn out 390 that was the same way. Had to pour a bit of oil down the carb to get it to start when warm.
  17. Sounds like a "OK" buy to me, you'd know your market best though. The hard start is probably dirty carb jets and circuits. Never a bad idea to check compression before buying. I always just factor in a new bore and piston set, then you know what you have. I always look over a new purchase for rounded off or missing or mis-matched bolts, indicates poor repairs and that stuff bothers me to know end. That actually looks like a pretty nice one in the pic, but the frame color indicates it's been completely apart. Oh, and hey, Welcome to BansheeHQ!!
  18. They are sequential. For sure from this thread a member has a 2005 Engine : 3GG-277311 . Not a big jump from 2005 to 2012 (24103 units), but hard to say how many were produced. hopefully someone with a newer than US imported Banshee will chime in.
  19. Could also be flooded, excess fuel in the case and pipes. I've had it happen several times.
  20. Yeah, no need to pull it from the frame for simple tests.
  21. Is it a Harbor Freight tester? (They all read 60)
  22. That's why I mentioned the jam nut, guessing you don't have one with all the grief the adjustment has given you and your "mechanic"
  23. did you install the idle screws? choke tube attached between carbs properly?
