  1. What he said^^^^ OEM for reliability...
  2. I didn't do the bearings mods on the drum or shift shaft... I built my 4mil ported stock cylinder over the winter... You're going to love that bike!
  3. I used a Dremel with a carbide bit.. The bit I used looks like a mini end mill, it was $14.00
  4. What he said^^^^^^^ my ported 4mil stock cylinder will beat a 450 and has, alot! LOL
  5. Good seller! The rotor and pads arrived exactly as described/pictured. I would buy from iDEAL again... No worries, fast shipping..
  6. Go to your local hardware store.... I got my clear hoses at True Value, you need 4ft of the 3/4" nylon reinforced clear hose.... I have been running it for 2 years on my bike (trail/drag) with zero issues... I think I paid less than $12.00 for 4ft... You'll have to stretch it over the water pump inlet nipple but it stretches easy with a little heat from a hair dryer or heat gun... '
  7. I have a customer with 2 Prius's and he runs E85 in both of them... So... Theres that....... Also have a customer with a "Not so" Smart Car that runs E85...
  8. I run a Tyson Racing Pro-Modded stocker (every other dog removed), modded shift shaft, Cascade shift star, and Mull's detent bearing mod... I can hold the throttle wide open and blip the clutch, it shifts with no effort at all..
  9. ^^ What he said^^^ Use an impact gun, easiest way to do it.... No damaged parts... Just don't tighten the shit out of it when you tighten it.... Three small burps of the trigger, no more..
  10. And E85 is for a Prius not a Banshee
  11. +4 timing and always run premium fuel, you should have no problem... 86 and 87 octane are for lawn mowers anyway, and should never be run in your Banshee..
  12. ^^ the spacer plate is not to correct port timing... It is to correct head to piston clearance.... Do not run a spacer! Have it ported and get cut domes for a coolhead...
  13. get the HOTRODS 4mm stroker long rod (115mm rods) crank, and use Wiseco 795 series stroker pistons
  14. the angled cut out needs to face the airfilter... Look on the slides and about 3/4 the way up the slide on the side you'll see a small hole... That hole needs to line up with/be facing the small clear window on each carb... The holes won't line up with the windows unless it's at wide open throttle... But you'll be able to see where they need to be... Don't forget to re-sync the carbs after you install them completely
  15. I live in Westland and I also ride in Mio... Going there on Friday staying at Mack Lake and riding the Bull Gap loop, maybe the Luzurne loop...Maybe to McKinnley...
  16. payment sent for rotor and brake pads, thanks man!
  17. Just order the TORS eliminator kit from the U.S. and pay the shipping and customs charges...call any builder from this site MANY if not most of them ship overseas....
  18. I have run Weisco's in every 2 stroke motor i have ever had, and not one problem since the mid 80's.... With the exception of My Maico engines which you can only get Mahle pistons for... The bore needs to be clearanced properly for a forged piston... They swell much more than a cast piston, i have always gone by the .0035 per inch of bore rule of thumb for clearance on a forged piston in a free air cylinder, or a little tighter on a liquid cooled cylinder...
  19. pipes before carbs....... The carbs won't do anything noticeable without a decent set of pipes... Pipes, reeds, TORS elimination, timing plate, coolhead, porting should be your first mods... I'm running a 4mil stroker aggressive dune port on stock carbs and it rips ....
  20. is it rusted?
  21. Try unplugging TORS system first
  22. I have a set 64.50mm unported they came off my running stock engine... What do you have to trade? I'm looking for a lockout and a lockout clutch cover... Or a set of 33mm PWK's for gas... Or I have cash to sweeten the deal if you have a set of CPI or Shearer small bore inframes w/silencers to trade... Not looking to sell the cylinders I would rather trade them......
  23. Go to an auto parts store for the pressure gauge.... O'reilly auto parts has them..
  24. A 4mil ported stock cylinder motor is a beast compared to a stock stroke motor... 60-70 hp in a play bike is FUN as hell! The 4mil was a night and day difference from my stockish motor with bolt ons... I'm going to run my 4mil ported stock cylinder set-up until it's time for a top end, then I'm going 4mil Serval.... The nice part about that swap is the lower end is already a 4mil so the Serval will just be bolt on! Good luck with your build!
  25. My old stock motor with the exact same mods was running 290 mains, 27.5 pilots, needle middle clip, 1.5 turns on the idle/air screw.... The jetting was spot on... 190 seems excessively lean to the point of a meltdown... I would rejet and do a few wide open pull plug chops...
