  1. http://muskegon.craigslist.org/mpo/4041539186.html This is a 1999 Banshee 385cc stroker with a fresh top end. Runs and rides great. No rides without cash in hand. I have receipts from many of the parts listed below. Asking $3200.00 OBO. Unfortunately my truck is on it's last leg and I need to sell this to help pay for a new vehicle. Wiseco 4mil stroker crank Wiseco 65mm 795 series pistons Ported cylinders by Flotek Racing CPI inframe pipes VForce 3 reeds Chariot cool head w/22 cc Domes +4 timing plate K&N pod filters Hinson Clutch Basket w/ newer clutch Billet coolant impeller Billet water pump cover lightly polished clutch cover Holeshot tires on Douglas red label wheels front and rear (wheels have been dipped black but are in nice shape under the dip) Skat Trak paddle Tires on Douglas wheels Black powder coated frame and swing arm all newer bearings Cobra spark arrestors. 2. Just got my Banshee back together after a lot of screwing around because of some head studs pulling out. It idles great and is very responsive. The mid range hit is fantastic but it seems to lose power on the top end. On my first ride I was running, 27.5 pilot 3rd clip 340 main Got back and one of my damn pods had fallen off so I jumped in the truck and went and found it. Switched to 330 mains and it seemed to clear up a bit but was still falling off on the top. Got back to the house and the fucking pod had come off again . Got back in the truck but couldn't find it this time, which is pretty much going to screw up any chance of riding this weekend. Doubt I'll be able to find one in town. Anyway, I'm a bit nervous to drop down to 320's. This is my first Banshee build and I really don't want to lean it out. My mods are as follows. 4 Mil chariot head with 22cc domes 93 Octane/32:1 CPI inframes + Sparky's K&N Pod(s) +4 Timing Dune port Stock carbs 500ish elevation 80+ temp and quite humid
  3. Back up and running. Thanks to Spurdy for helping me out finding the threaded inserts.
  4. I'm in Michigan. Do you have the ones with the locking tabs? I've been able to find those at a reasonable price but can't find the ones like in your picture.
  5. I would like to do both. Hoping to get it done by next weekend. I'm searching everywhere for these things.
  6. One of the holes had already been heli coiled and that pulled out as well. Didn't notice til today. Honestly surprised me as I've used a ton of them in the past with no problems. So, the Keenserts seem to use a larger drill hole than a Heli-coil but I'm having trouble finding them, except on Amazon at $10 a piece. At this point, I want to do all of the holes. If you have some, I'd be happy to Paypal you some $$$. I pm'ed you a little bit ago.
  7. Any idea what drill and tap I need for the keen sert?
  8. I looked at the time/keen serts but I'm not real enthused about the price for a kit. I've used Helicoils in many different applications in the past, including cylinder head bolts on a 13 -1 compression 355 V8 with no issues. I'll check with a couple sponsors.
  9. Putting my engine back together after getting my cylinders back and three of the head stud pulled out while trying to torque the head. So, it looks like I'll be doing some heli coiling. Where is a good place to buy stock replacement studs?
  10. http://muskegon.craigslist.org/cto/3966736418.html typo on price, but still funny.
  11. I'd be interested in the High Revs as well. Looks like I'm 3rd in line. lol
