  1. Would like the silencers along with the pipes and for the head i dont want anything less than 20cc domes so i do not have to run race gas. Will buy the head with or without domes

  4. Thanks starwriter that was the most helpful post ive seen yet! Do you know what the two small metal pieces of tubing extending in opposite directions are and their purpose? The only reason im asking is there is one line attached to the right side and nothing to the left
  5. Alright thanks for the detailed response. So can i just let the line from the back of the trans hang down or does it need to be looped up the steering shaft and conected to the little metal tube where another hose is connected to? Sorry for the vague explanation im not sure exaxtly what its called
  6. Ok so obviously theres a right and a left carb but are the carb tops along with the needle and slides that are connected to the throttle cables and tors etc interchangable?

Ok so the big cooling lines are obvious but where im a little confused is the small cooling line is from the resevoir under the seats two tubes the one on top of the resevoir and the one on bottom. Also there is a tube right about the water pump and an opening on the back of the cases that im also not sure about. I have some pics to help illustrate what im talking about. Lastly the two small lines coming from the radiator itself i have no clue on. Im probly overthinking this but i just want to make sure everythings right. Thanks for the help

  9. I have my banshee all torn down and off all things to give me trouble my carb tops will not twist off.. Not sure what the problem is or if i have to loosten the nut used when syncing the carbs or what. Any help will be much appreciated!

Ok so my mods included an a & d cool head with 20cc domes, fmf fattys with powercore silencers, k & n air filters bolted straight to the STOCK carbs, boyesen power reeds, bored .020 over with wiseco pro lite pistons. Ive read alot about jetting before posting this and from other similar set ups a good place to start for main jets would be 310's even 300's? just rather would start rich then to lean, but where i basically have no idea is will i need to adjust the needle and change the pilot jet as well? Just want to have a good starting spot with this and no harm done to my freshly rebuilt engine. Im 700 ft above sea level and ride from temps anywhere from 70-95 degrees
  11. Ok so i had 70 psi in the left hole and 90 in the right. Pistons are a little scarred which is my fault from modifying the airbox without rejetting so i think i leaned it out too much, but after looking at the pistons they look pretty good besides minimal scaring and the sleeves also look good. So what could be the cause of my low compression?
  12. I am right outside Flint Michigan, and thanks ill look into those! Anyone dealt with duncan racing ive heard a few good things about them?

  14. Well the left cylinder is blown and i want a complete rebuild done with my crank trued and welded along with port work and recomendations on who i should send this is to have rebuilt? Thanks for the help
