  1. Hope this isnt the case, but I had something similar happen to me last year. I couldn't shift out of 4th at all after a hard ride on spare parts banshee I had just bought. Turns out one of the gears welded itself to the shift shaft. Good thing is trannys arent too pricey on BHQ
  2. Ive heard those degree keys tend to shear, ruining the flywheel and crank in the process. It seems timing plates are preferred to the keys. Am I off?
  3. Just throwing this out there. Have cleaned your radiator lately? Dirt can clog up the small space between the fins and greatly reduce the cooling efficiency of the radiator.
  4. Performance wise, you should be fine. Now repacking that silencer might be a bitch. You might be able to push or beat the dent out of it when you take the silencer apart next time you repack.
  5. As long as it doesnt bottleneck the flow of the exhaust, i don't see why it would affect the performance as far as silencers go. A dent on the expansion chamber would be a different story. Is the dent on the pipe section or the "muffler" section? Approximate size and depth of the dent?
  6. I dont know if you missed the part where he said his motor is stock, but on a stock motor the T6's blow T5' out of the water. Theres really no debating that.
  7. If I recall correctly from one of your past threads, you're in Wichita ks. If so, swing by JSR perfromance. They stock a clutch kit identical to FAST's and if your steels are good they can sell you just the fibers to save even more. Plus once said and done you will have a pretty stout clutch.
  8. Yeah I guess I could call it exactly what it is. Last post before yours was from over a year ago. Edit: not trying to sound like a dick. just first thing that came to my head.
  9. Nah bro don't do it. From the sounds of it, that bike will have more issues than its worth. Winter is coming up. People will be selling running shees for cheap for Christmas money. U should be able to find a running one for a grand or so if u diligently keep a look out.
  10. Fmfs are probably the best budget pipes. I've had good experiences with them. If u can't afford t6s then some fatties r a good choice.
  11. Lol buy the silencers and get the pipes for free!
  12. Yeah the pink panther stuff works pretty good. It seems to blow out just a tad quicker than actual pipe packing but is super cheap. The 5 dollar rolls do about 4 repacks on my fmf powercore 2's. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Owens-Corning-EcoTouch-Unfaced-2-in-x-16-in-x-48-in-R-6-7-Multi-Purpose-Continuous-Roll-Insulation-A85P/100320315?N=bay7 Edit: I should clarify that by 4 repacks i mean one roll will repack 4 silencers, not that i can repack 2 silencers 4 times.
  13. Ill take a set of standard length blue levers. Ill pm you.
  14. Well did you do any changes to the carbs at all? stock carbs? If so did you verify the choke tube was in place? And make sure the slides are in the correct carb. I bought a banshee with the slides reversed and at first couldn't figure out why it wouldn't idle.
  15. Strap a cynder block to the front bumper lol
  16. You lose low end power. Those pipes are designed to run best with packing in them. You will notice a gain in low end power with packing in place.
