  1. JDS going to have some stiff competition now. Patterns look great, I have always liked the process of the hydro dipping.
  2. I bet it can do some sweet burnouts! haha
  3. yep, this thread now has my attention. Carry on
  4. Daaaaamn! I'm jelous. Nice rifle man! Now all you need is a nice scope for that thing .308 I assume?
  5. Call Jeff @ Farm and Sand Toys. Tell him what setup your running (engine, pipes, carbs) and he will point you in the right direction and also have the parts you are looking to order.
  6. They wanted to break the news gently so they figured by using girly font it would appear to be a sincere e-mail. From looking at the nice pin hole in Man-O-Steel's new CPI's they have already compromised the quality just a tad.
  7. ^ this^ Your compression is good if your still running a stock head according to what you previously stated. Drop down to a 27.5 and 1.5 turns out on your pilot air screw. Report back afterwards
  8. I'm a little confused here, but did you just ask a question and then answer it?
  9. Kind of what I was thinking too, since it is spring now. But this is coming from the guy that can't figure out how to make a bracket clear his plastic so.....
  10. Thought I would post pics of the carbon fiber stuff installed.
  11. Just because you re-sleeved those cylinders not that long ago doesn't mean jack shit as to what the compression is now that you heated that cylinder up cherry red. Take a step back, relax and grab a compression gauge and double check your compression. Nice catch on the spark plugs you may have gotten lucky on not melting it to the ground. Do yourself a favor and have the piece of mind that your motor is running like it should.
  12. East central Oklahoma. I'm originally from Atoka and also race there. Kane I live about 45 mins east of whitefield and will be spending more time over there this year. We need to try and hook up some time this year
  13. Sprinkles takes the cake. Chariot or Noss, both of which are BHQ site sponsors that make good quality products. Dome selection will depend on a few different factors (porting, elevation, cold cranking compression) . Give Jeff a call @ FAST Racing (785) 364-5352 and explain to him what your trying to achieve and he will get you set up with what your wanting.
  14. Screw that I'm sure it's a stock swing arm and bearing carrier. There is two long bolts on your bearing carrier (part that your axle slides through). Loosen both of those just a tad and rotate the bearing carrier backwards toward you. This will tighten your chain up. If your bearing carrier is hard to rotate or move back and forth for chain adjustment, use a pry bar of some sort for motivation to free it up. Once you get your chain tightened to your liking, tighten the two bolts back that you loosened when you started. Chain should have a little slack in it, you don't want it super tight. If you max out the adjustment on the bearing carrier, find the master link on your chain, take the chain off and remove a link or two from your chain, then re-install. Problem solved.
  15. Looks awesome JD. The fitment on that bracket is spot on. Nice work
  16. I'm not able to get the numbers on the needles right now, but if you have a few extra dollars I would go ahead and suggest buying new intakes and carbs. It would make that motor run like it should. Stock carbs on a setup like that is choking that motor back. I think you would be better pleased if you were to buy bigger carbs.
  17. Gomer, are you running the stock needles? I had problem's with the stock needles when I was running my stock stroke/stock cyl, setup w/ pods. Switched to the dyna jet needles and fixed my problem. The dyna jet "kit" is a waist of money and I wouldn't suggest buying it but the needles offered in that kit fixed my problem and I was running a setup with a lot less HP than your serval.
  18. You can do that if you like, but for the money your going to spend on a new stock stroke crank ($400 trued & welded, FAST Racing price) for $50 more you can go to a 4mill crank and gain a lot more power once you have your cylinders ported correctly for the added stroke.
  19. shit, $3k will get you a solid 421 cub with all the goody's. Be far from stock haha
