My vote would be either a .243 or a .270. Ammo is always readily available down here and both are pretty versatile calibers. I've got a Remington 30-06 and it is a freakin HOSS. Most times I don't enjoy shooting it for fun because it feels like my shoulder is going to fall off after 5rds.

I would just go back to stock width a-arms and go with a jj&a play axle. You don't have to put the stock arms back on, you could have some built to get away from the sketchy ball joints that come from the factory. I agree with toy tech. Don't buy a drag axle if your still duning it.

I recently bought a used set of Lone Star a-arms from Abe. Upon dis-assembly he found a problem with a couple of the heim joints and notified me through private message here on the HQ. We exchanged phone numbers and talked about what was going on and came to an agreement on how to correct the problem. I appreciate his honesty and also the time he took to notify me before just throwing stuff in a box and saying "ehh F$*k it". Communication was excellent, parts were boxed up and packaged nicely and tracking number was provided once parts were shipped. Awesome seller, I definitely would not hesitate to buy parts from Abe. Thanks again Abe!
