  1. Good point, you think he knows what a mil is? Most people have heard of a cub just from all the hype.
  2. Serval is a mono block aftermarket cylinder, it's a cub with less aggressive port timing.

  4. When you own a bike like a banshee you need to get to know it. For example you need to check the compression every so often to keep tabs on the health of the engine. Other things to do especially if your not familiar with your bike is do a leak down test and clean the carbs and take note of what jets are in it. Remove the boost bottle and run stock crossover, the boost bottle will crack the intakes and lean out the motor. If you do this stuff you will have a dependle bike.

  6. BlowDown - Measured in degrees of crankshaft rotation from Exhaust Port opening to the Transfer Ports opening. Duration - The number of degrees of crankshaft rotation that a port is open.

  9. I think higher compression motors have their place, just depends on what you want from it. Gonzo is used to small piston gp bikes that rev way higher then banshee's.
  10. Have you recently replaced pistons? I have seen them installed backwards and that would cause the exact same problem.
  11. I agree there is a limit to the compression ratio when the engine will start struggling to build higher rpms. But that is different then cranking compression. This is based on my opinions.
  12. . And this is all based on CRANKING compression.....Who gives a shit about building a motor around the cranking compression, port timing can alter the compression and there are a lot of variables to total tourqe output.

  15. Dude you haven't rode your banshee yet.... Do you even own a banshee or is this all theoretical? If you knew how to ride and launch a banshee properly you may have a chance, in your case you will lose. Grow some thick skin or GTFO.. and have a blessed day

  19. I used an air grinder with a couple different carbide bits... I took my time not to destroy the temper on the gears.I spent about 20 minuets per gear. Its done and back together. Im way to impatient to drag out the process that long..

  21. That equates to roughly 54 mm..witch would be stock stroke.
  22. When you raise the pressure, you raise the boiling point in return...so you can run a higher temp without boiling over.. It's kind of a bandaid in my opinion.

  24. 2. If opening the bleeder screw releases the brakes, you have a master cylinder problem Or a bad brake hose.......They come apart on the inside allowing fluid pressure to be trapped in the caliper.
