  1. yeah, skeet fuck off.... You damn sheep fucker
  2. I don't see why you would need two kill switches....
  3. http://www.amrca.com/tech/tuners.pdf
  4. I think Gordon Jennings is a good start for people like me to brush up on the basics...you can't be successful at it unless you learn to crunch the numbers, the more I learn the more shit I have to add to the equation..... I'm fixin to start on my daughters lt 80, thinking about trying to hydro form her a pipe..not sure what expansion chamber program to use..
  5. Yep ball on right jet on left....
  6. one bowl is set up for the choke... if you look in the bottom of the left side bowl you will see a passage with a check ball down in it if i am remembering correctly.
  7. the pedal makes the RPM control much easier. high RPM not so good when working with the aluminum, figured that out quickly with the air operated pencil grinders.....
  8. I doubt it's the tors. make sure slides are in correctly, did you swap bowls? make sure the jets are clean....
  9. Whats your budget? you can have a banshee make power everywhere from down low to up high, but a motor like that will cost you$$$$ for the cost of another quad you can more then likely have a 4 mill ported Serval. with some cpi inframes you can make 80+ hp and still have hella power on bottom....Cam at Redline seems to be the guy building the faster Servals.
  10. YOU CAN WIRE BOTH TO A SINGLE KILL SWITCH, WHY TWO COILS???
  11. To the op...a little drag race secret...Lean = hp. Poke a small hole in your intake boots(if not already ripped) ,...you'll be flying in no time......not responsible for piston damage......
  12. There are people who claim they are builder/porters who come on hear trying to teach a sermon. Then their are those that just want to share and figure out new ideas to make a better running bike.... REGISTERED USER IS KEN OCONNOR.
  13. The guy that ported your cylinders is no banshee guru either. And you arn't even sure what the porting is for, and I bet the guy doing the porting probably didn't measure shit..
  14. Measure cut repeat, once you can fit your fist through the ports, then you can pour in the afm.....
  15. because everyone knows you can slap in a 4 mill on cylinders already ported for stock stroke....That will get you that 70 hp you wanted.....
  16. Aiming the transfers toward the back of the cylinder (opposite from exhaust port) should keep the fuel from dumping out the exhaust. Something i think about is crank case volume and how it effects crank case pressure.. I came across a set of cases that had alot of material removed around the crank area and wondered how much that effected the pressure to move fuel and air up the transfers.. JUST THINKING OUT LOUD....
  17. Good example of why I go elsewhere to try to learn more....someone wants to discuss somthing like 2 stroke theory and operation and nine times out of ten the input is "send it out to a sponsor". When people come hear and want to learn or discuss somthing like port designs or expansion chamber design, then the flaming begins.....There is a difference between guys wanting to discuss to try to learn more, and then guys that come here trying to prove somthing...
  18. Exactly, i got a motor with original pistons still in it and on original bore, those cylinders wore so out of round that i ended up using them to practice transfer porting. I fucked them up big time..
  19. Proper wire repair go's along way....if you twist wires together and throw some tape on, your right, it won't be worth a shit.
  20. Let's not get hung up on the definition of porting and maybe discuss the theory.
  21. Our Goal is more power, to make more power we need combustion, the more air and fuel shoved into the cylinder at the correct ratio makes the power...The style of the port job will tell us where in the rpm the power will be made. there are other variables like pipe scavenging effects to match the porting for full benefits. This sight needs more people that are interested pipe effects and what porting a cylinder actually does.. I like to learn in detail of how to make a more efficient motor.
