  1. one spline makes a big difference, one spline up on mine is way to high.
  2. cubs are a better option in my opinion. the cub and Athenas are nicasil. I heard the Athenas have plating problems but i can't say from personal experience.

  4. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=137456 link with pics to help.. make sure the clutch arm is adjusted so the pointer lines up with the arrow on the case. maybe you have a problem with the clutch assembly its self. Was there alot of slack in the clutch cable before you took it apart?
  5. I have personally never heard of a failure due to this mod. All I can say is banshee shifted like shit under power, after doing this I can shift under power almost like an override.
  6. keep it. Check out atv connection there is a guy that goes by the screen name LT80..lol That guy knows his stuff, and is willing to give out info on performance and clutch tuning, he is getting around 12 hp with the stock carb and pipe with his porting..They are like 3or 4 hp stock. I built a pink and white lt 80 for my six year old daughter. I have more fun on it then her.....

  15. The spacers set over the top of the six threaded holes to give the cover a flat surface to tighten up against. Put the six springs in the perches, put a spacer over each of the threaded holes, place the cover on, line up the holes and put the Allen bolts in and torque to specs. If i'm missing something someone chime in....

  20. Speaking from experience. banshees are not good investments, they can be money pits, especially if you get addicted to power. I see banshees with up over 15k invested sell for 3500.... if you want to make money on one buy it cheap and hope it's not about to grenade, then part it out..
  21. That's my target.. I think .058 is fine tho.
  22. That's what was going on with me.. so i did it one hole at a time... Part of me wanted to short cut but this shit is too expensive for short cutting..
  23. That is how i measured, I'm kind of thinking that when you torque down the head the o rings smash enough to nor really worry about. i measured with the o rings.. better safe then assuming.
  24. that will move all of your port timings up. You need to find out what you have before throwing shit at it.
