  1. A 10 mill cast crank is about a grand, and trenching, what's that? A buck fifty or so?? I think the big increase in power is worth the money....besides with more power comes better suspension.. Long travel arms with some floats or elkas... Longer swinger...Bam another 3 grand.
  2. ot Not a banshee but what the hell....
  3. http://www.dfn.com/agservices/elecfaq.html Check the schematic....You can see the wiring harness better then we can in those pics.. That harness looks like a mess, You may be better off finding a better harness. There is a member on here that does good harness work for cheap...Cory at Kompulsive concepts
  4. http://www.autosoviet.altervista.org/voskh-4_big.jpg Custom from the ground up.
  5. Depends on how much pitting and how deep...If they are not ported i would look for replacements or have those sleeved and ported....
  6. Check compression, the side with a hole in the piston will be the side the leaks on...do the leak down test to see if it passes, when it don't pass then you pull the side covers off so you can see the crank seals..pressure up to 6 psi and spray soapy water then look for bubbles.
  7. What tire were you running?
  8. Now to figure out what caused the hole in the piston.
  9. Tulsa Raceway park just put in a 300 foot Prepped strip with lights and everything... Now i can see what my little cub will do... http://www.tulsaracewaypark.com/blog/214-from-the-dirt-side
  10. Depends on brand, but most will be stamped on the side of the dome. 17cc to 22 or so.
  11. The domes are most likely big bore ...so no prolly not....measure the big bores, 68mm is the most common with blaster pistons. A bore is cheaper then new domes..... What cc are the domes?
  12. Cushion, it's normally thrown away on the first clutch job.
  13. To much play in lower rod bearings causing the piston to kiss the head?? or maybe a stretched rod??
  14. The crank case area is shaved down with a rough texture....
  15. http://www.rdzracing.com/New_RDZ_Racing_Banshee_Performance_Parts.htm
  16. My cases look exactly the same, mine is cut deep with epoxy on the bottom...
  17. No 660 in 08, was it a 700 raptor??? Mx upgrades on a raptor is almost comical.... On a banshee it is important to keep air flow across the radiator since their is no fan...so keep up the pace and don't idle around to much.
  18. He's talking about your low experience level showing up in your posts, while at the same time your telling everyone you are a mechanic.....by low experience I mean your mechanical inabilities. Every tech starts somewhere and i'm not trying to bash on you....
  19. Reeds are a restriction in the intake.Rotary valve motors seem to be more efficient, to bad they take up so much room.
  20. YES, AND NO, BUT YES FOR SURE.....MAYBE... For reals yes its the little black box to the left of the coil.
  21. Take off the sticker and boost bottle, The sticker is bad luck and the boost bottle has no effect on performance, just clutters things up and will cause a leak soon enough...
  22. The outside is a dust boot, The seal is on the piston.... do you need a seal or dust boot??
