  1. i have a 4mill,T5s,stock carbs, toomey 2-1 air filter, stock timing,19cc domes(175 psi),V3s, no porting, useing the spacer plate.i run a 15/38 for trail riding. but if you plan on going to a 38 you may wanna get a lonestar hub that uses a honda sprocket to a yamaha axle. reason is because when you go that small on on a yamaha the sprocket is so thin and easy to blow apart. and if you do plan on using you a yamaha sprocket you will have to grind down the hub so the chain won't hit it.
  2. why do you use two different ones? when you put in case oil the trans bearings, shafts, and forks share the same oil. I would just use the same oil(new) i run in the case to lube everything. On the crank bearings i would use premix oil but just a little bit don't get crazy with it. And after you have it all togher(with oil in) i would turn the motor over a few times befor starting it.
  3. i have a nice front uncut. factory blue. $100 + shipping. i will check later to see how much shipping is if you want it.
  4. i have a stock carbs with V3s and like it,but i rode with a guy from here that had a 2-1 set-up and it seemed to pull n ride just as hard as mine. it really depends on the riding you do. if drag race then do the 2 carbs, if you like more trail riding stick with the 2-1. easier on the thumb that for sure.
  5. i have +4 with spacer plate, toomey 2:1 airfilter, stock carbs,t5s, and run a 15/38, fast as fxuck on pavement, but i need a alot and i mean alot of room to get to 6th.and by that time it doesn't feel safe(shaking like a motherfxcker). i think with that gearing i have top speed is still only about 90mph. and i have a gsxr600 so doing 100 is not big deal to me. and another thing if you do go as small as a 38 in the rear you gunna what to get a hub that uses a honda spocket or esle your gunna blow that 38 to piece like i did.
  6. now he is but for real you guys wouldn't pay that. i would..........n't
  7. with 100
  8. 32:1 always worked great for me.
  9. they look good enough to me. 60 shipped is a okay deal. if you want new then open your checking book and start spending alot more money. My elkas on sale were $800. you bought a used part for 60, get some shock covers and reuse your old bushing. jmo
  10. if installed correctly it doen't matter what brand gasket you use.
  11. None of you showed up. all talk and no show huh. scuba147 can ride one well of a wheelie can't wait to meet up again and ride. and who cares about a little rain kept the banshee clean, hell its was the cleanest i ever left ther with it.
  12. i will be in a dark grey chevy pick-up with two dirt bikes and my banshee in the bed. parking by the silo as you come down the hill to your right. i don't care if i'm the only bhqer i'm going rain or shine.
  13. yes you do. It should slide in from the right meaning when you pull it out you will have to pull it out on the sporket side, and the brake rotor will stop it from slidding out.
  14. so every one still in for this weekend(24th). what time are you guys thinking of gettin there? and where do you guys want to meet?
  15. well you kinda have to. If you want to do as little as possible then start at the 4th post after the trans and shift forks are in, well yours will still be in. You should really get the cylmers book, it has all torque specs and how to torque them down. your case bolt are not that tight so if you over tighen them you will for sure pull up threads.
  16. i would, anytime you make a change in the carb you should do a plug chop.jmo
  17. thats one of the best blaster i ever seen. nice job.
  18. what soo special about it? looks like a green banshee to me, if you got 6500 for it you should be happy. i wouldn't of ever paid that for it.
  19. X2 loco thats funny. but all i was sayin is that it seems everytime sombody post somthing about a motor it always say go to a site sponsor. Yes i agree they are good and helpfull, but they are not the only people that can build ,port, mod a trans, their are plenty of places that do a great job that peole hate on because they are not a BHQ site sponsor. and vitoes also found a problem with their product thats why they stopped plating their cyclinders so they are also trying to fix things.like trinty racing. To be honest i never used a site sponsor from here because i uasally find prices cheaper esle where, and evrything breaks sooner or later.
  20. hey hey i showed up last time.
  21. i wonder if viteos became a site sponsor how many people would change their minds about them kinda like trinty racing. as for their cranks i had two of them never had a problem with their welds. i'm going on 3yr on a +4 stock rod length crank right now from them.
  22. X2 on the boots.
  23. nice bikes. i like the yellow one more. looks bad ass.
