  1. hey i am having a similar problem and maybe i could get help here also. I currently am not getting any spark, i had my shee out yesterday, ran it up and down the street, and parked it in my driveway. I powerwashed it and i go to start it and nothing. roll it into my garage to find out that i am not getting any spark. i checked all my wires and connections and they are good. my pickup coil on my magneto is where it should be. I have no idea if it is the cdi or the magneto, and i cannot check because i cannot get the flywheel off nor do i have a friend with a shee close around here. thanks for any info
  2. hahahaha I love it when he said "nagnagnag (then the powerband kicks in) bitch bitch bitch". lmao :yelrotflmao:
  3. one thing that pisses me off more than anything is when kids get THEIR parents to spend THEIR hard earned money on spoiled ass kids like YOU. grow a pair, get a job, any buy your own shit. and its also funny that you are bringing your dad in on a arguement because you can't fight it for yourself. and yes, I may be 16, but every quad/dirtbike I have bought WITH MY OWN money, except for my first quad (christmas present). any yes, I have jibbed a guy once with my last dirt bike, but KARMA got me with my shee and I got screwed over on it and had to dump a good amount of money into it to get it to run right. think i have learned my lesson? yes. think I would want to do that to someone now? no. just grow up kid, and stop making up bs stories and trying to screw people over with your shee.
  4. I agree... I bought my banshee for 1,400 and there is nothing stock about it. All it needed was the carbs rejetted, clutch cover gasket, and swingarm bearings.
  5. so all it needs a a WHOLE new front end? WOW, thats not much to fix so you bought the bike for 900 then put graphics on it and it has a bad front end and all of a sudden its worth 2,800? wow keep dreaming buddy and your blaster you are selling for 2,500 or whatever, The sold them for like 3G off the showroom floor brand new when they still sold them. It might be worth 1800, Hell i am even having a tought time selling my 660 raptor for 2,500 let alone a little blaster? you must be living in fantasy land. just sell your blaster and fix the shee. simple as that. and also, is the shee your bike or your dads? because from what your post is telling me, it seems like he owns it and not you since he is telling you what to do. people like you piss me off, and I think you should move on to blasterforum where all the little kiddies like to play and BS
  6. i run yamalube 2r at 32:1 mix and golden spectro w80 gear oil in my shee....
  7. i have a raptor 660 as my second quad and its a great quad for screwing around on. its got more torque than you could need. it wheelies on demand and rides nice/slides easily. fun bike to beat on. if you think of getting one of these stay away from 01's unless they have an upgrade tranny from 02 on because second gear blows in the 01's alot. if i was looking for the bikes that you mentioned, i would aim for a yfz450 or a 400ex, or kfx 400. i have never ridden a 250r i heard alot of hype about them but for screwing around 4 strokes imo are better
  8. well my father thought he could help and we ended up cutting the bolt being the clutch cover with a torch..... ended up cracking my swinger in 3 places, melted a hole in my frame down below by the back brake lever, and that SOB is still on there. so now i guess we gott cut it on the other side to get it off....these 50 dollar bearings are going to turn into a couple hundred dollar project... but thanks for the help guys
  9. ok guys im in the process of putting new swingarm bearings in and i cant get the pivot bolt to come out. i have tried hitting it out, turning it out, heat, pb blaster crap, wd40, hitting it out with a push pin, it wont come out no matter what i do. i have got it to come out about 1/2" if that and it wont go any further. please i need some help because i would like to have these puppies in tonight. thanks for any info.
  10. i could really use those.... count me in buddy! thanks
  11. to be honest i think it is something in the steering stem because my tire rods and tie rod ends are fine. next week when i tear it apart to put a new cluth cover gasket in and some other goodies ill take a look at it. thanks guys for the help and ill keep yous posted. speaking about the steering stem, is it normal for it at the bottom where it connects to the tie rods to move back and forth when steering? its not really a problem i just noticed it does this, because my raptor's steering stem doesnt
  12. its fine when im riding its just when i turn sharp on a hill or hit a rock or a stump/ log etc. it turns the wheels and bars all the way to the left or right and then that tire will just go further and lock up against the a arm the easiest way i can explain it without pics (dont have camera) is if you are sitting on the quad and you hit something with your left tire it looks like this -- while the right tire is turned \ like that. sorry but if i had a camera it would make explaining this much easier
  13. so i have been riding my shee alot more lately and i realized that when i hit a rock or a log or something, or turn sharp going down a hill, my front tires tend to lock on me. and what i mean by that is the tire turns 90 degrees so that it runs parallel with the a arms. the is really starting to bug me and has caused me to wreck twice already. has anybody else experienced this problem and what can i do to stop it? i looked at the whole front end and nothing looks broken, messed up, etc. can you guys help?
  14. i ride mostly in fields and some trails and everything in between (but sand) i like it cuz it gives a nice amount of top end, i havent checked my rear teeth yet but im sure its not stock. i am just asking because i am heading to treverton with it this weekend and im going to put more tranny fluid in it but i dont want to leak it all out again. so pretty much take it off and clean the gasket? if its that simple ill do it tomorrow. and to get that off do you have to take the water pump cover/stuff off along with the clutch cover to get to it?
  15. i dont really like dealing with ebay. i dont have an account, either
