  1. x2 on the too little oil maybe??... hard to say. how is the rod bearing?
  2. Sometimes it takes a few more runs to get both sides to break in propperly. Keep driving it. They will even up
  3. ps those white chunks on top are pieces of aluminum. Id say you got shitty fuel.
  4. I have 34mm PJ's. Ill try out the gas cap stuff!! Thanks for the tips. If i have a problem still ill try larger fuel lines
  5. Hey guys, iv been playing with floats and fuel lines. My banshee will run out of fuel in 6th gear on the high end. Whats the secret to fixing this?? Thanks
  6. No offense dude. I own A 05 CFR 450R thats done up abit and a 96 shee with a 421 vito. Your gunna need alot more motor then a stock 350 with pipes and a after market head. My 450 still whips my banshee's ass from 0- 90mph. My Banshee with the big engine has a bit more top end actually. But i need alot of runway to catch it. Sounds like you need a Big bore and some serious compression.
  7. is it black sticky stuff??? could be antifreeze?.......
  8. x7 on the advanced timing. If you still have a stock stator, just hog the bolt hole out so their egg shaped as much as you can. Thats what i did. Im at about +4 advanced. It wont make insaine noticable power. But will increase throttle responce and you will find it pulls harder in 5th and 6th.
  9. Oh man thats a kick ass motor!!! for sure put on the 38 or 39mm's!!!! Gotta feed her What CC is this engine??
  10. I have those things... Their a pain inn the ass!! Start rich. Allways. Start at 165 Main. 45 pilot. needles set on medium clip.
  11. The second you see smoke role on forward and stage. No need to get the tires greasey and heat the clutch up.
  12. Im not just telling you that you have to shift your banshee manually, im telling you how to shift it propperly, Not that granny shifting waay most people use...
  13. Hey easy on Vito's boys and girls!! They have nice stuff... But back to the 404 vs stroker. the 404 is a great "top end performer" . I used to have a 404. Worked awesome if your into open fields and drag racing your friends. 4 mill Stroker is better in the mid to semi top end, their torquey!! Iv beaten a bunch of local guys with ported 350's and 4 mill strokers..
  14. Exactly... The way to power shift in a race car or bike is to hold the throttle open all the way. And just nic the clutch and pull the exact same time. let the clutch pop back itself. Waaay fast. Iv went through 3 trannys so far in my nova.....
  15. It was a joke, but in a serious way. When you train for truck driving they have you double clutch...
  16. Oh ya i run it in my 13:1 05 CRF 450 . Good for the valves and smells even better.
  17. I agree with the previous post. 39mm. Thats a killer engine man
  18. i was having a exact issue like your having. i had acouple of problems. 1 the plug boots were junk. and 2 the carbs i bought "used". had 1 sizre different needle then the other. But the main issue was the plug boots.
  19. I dont think 95psi will cause your banshee to not rev out . Get your reeds and new boots and see what that does first. If it fixes your problem. then rebuild your motor if you want. 95 is pretty low. buty it should still run "decent" i would think.
  20. Cant complain to get 10 years out of a motor. That thing owes you nothin!! Vito's has excellent products, you wont be dissapointed with their crank.
  21. I would say your crank bearings went out of it. And im supprised your getting away with running 18cc domes on pump fuel with +5 timing! But hey learn something new every day.
  22. by the time you get that thing fixed your better off buying a New one. Do it once and do it right as they say. Hot rods of vito's make nice cranks. not to crazy priced.
  23. does it spitter and stutter or like fall on its face when it starts to get wound out?? I would say your rich. but if it falls on its face your starving for fuel.
  24. Oh ya. Vito's has awesome stuff as well. Im running their 421 kit. It works pretty kick ass!
