  1. I have the FMF Gold Series FAtty's. their actually not that big compared to other brands i have seen. But it worked good on my old motor. so we shall see. Also what kinda compression are you running?? i have the the 22cc domes, makes 185psi . I would have thought the 22cc's would have made like 150 psi or something.
  2. Does she pull pretty hard?? i have a similar set up to yours. Im just waiting for some jets to come in.
  3. Yes it will change how it burns. It depends on the fuel, my race fuel runs fatter then 94 pump gas and its heavily leaded, I have not tried VP 110. Just put a tank in and run it through the gears and pull the plugs and see if its lean or fat. If ya dont like how your plugs look drain the tank or re jet accordingly. Or, mix it half and half with Pump Gas. so it wont be such a huge change.
  4. Yup, its been running faster numbers ever since.
  5. Welll same thing happened to me, but it was just one bolt. The idiot who built my first motor didnt have any squish gap., so the piston was "love tapping" the head. then Boom!! Hopefully this is not your case
  6. No need to start fighting man, freedom of speech. But i was serious about the 3MPH and 2 tenths
  7. Actually in my drag car we switch from Valvoline oil from engine to rear end to Ams oil and the car went 3mph and 2 tenths faster in the quarter then it ever has in its life time. coinsidence??.. i think not... Your also wrong about the carbon build up is due to a shitty tune or the engine is poor, well i went from Shell Synthetic when i first bought it and had serous carbon build up, to ams oild and its was clean as a whistle. i did nothing eles to the motor. The oil brand was my only change.
  8. Iv tried Yamaha Lube, Shell Synthetic, Polaris Premium, Castrol, Artcic Cat Synthetic, and a few more. Ams Oil intercepter and Dominator has blown all the other brands outta the water by far with its Clean burn. Mind you a few of my friends run Klotz and they still foul plugs and their power valves are covered in Gunk and Carbon. Around where im from Klotz is more expensive by about 3 bucks per Liter. I really dont care what the exhuast smells like. So i still stand with my comment on how its" the best of the best" Anyone who rides snowmobiles and does their own maintence will agree its the best. It doesnt really show when you use it in a banshee engine.
  9. Yup Ams Oil recommends you run 50:1.
  10. I just finished my 421 from vito's, its been running like shit kinda as well. But i have the stock carbs on it. Tonight im gunna put the 34mill's on it. I think all it needs is some tuning with the jets. time will tell.
  11. Oh ya, i dont care what people say, its by far the best of the best.
  12. Iv never tried Klotz, but i have tried many other synthetic and non synthetic 2 stroke oils. Ams Oil burns the cleanest. If you have snowmobiles, you have to clean power valves. With every other oil iv used they are covered in Carbon and Gunk. But with Ams Oil its like new everytime i pull them out.
  13. Why dont you like Ams Oil??
  14. Eagle 1 Metal Polish is amazing stuff as well.
  15. Adding more compression is going to affect torque more then it will horsepower. But either way its going to help you accelerate faster!!
  16. I say go with a 20cc as well.
  17. Its one of the best oils out there i think. Ams Oil Interceptor is also a great oil as well.
  18. Tap the threads. mine were fucked aswell????
  19. Thats a perfect example!! High compression engines will blow the spark out if its too big.
  20. Well ya dont gotta agree with it lol. Im just telling ya, if your wanna make power. Tighten up your plug gap a bit. Its not a opnion. its fact. I test stuff like that on the dyno all the time.
  21. Iv proved it on the dyno. The larger the gap the colder the spark becomes. the tighter the gap the hotter it becomes. If you run a higher voltage ignition system you can get away with larger gaps. Their is huge horsepower gains on high compression motors. But clearly this theory is all too a certain point. like 22-30 is perfeect for a Gas powered engine.
  22. I use Race Gas. My old race sled use to run like shit on regular Br8es's, but then i found a Iridium for it and it never fouled again, it ran way better. Im just curious if theirs a nice race plug out their for banshee's.
  23. Curious to your Psi running 21's??? Im running 21's, and my compression is waaaayy high. 14:1!! and i run 103 octaine.... I would have thought it would be like alot lower.
  24. whats the CC is that engine?? and compression?? i have seen where the carbs are too big on a engine and it will loose horse power and be lazy. 34 Ki is a gooood carb man. I would go with the 34's myself. But once again is depends how big your engine is.
