  1. What kind of oil did you use?? Maby try putting in some thicker oil like 80-90w gear oil.
  2. You got a decent set up right now man. How much money are you willing to spend?? and how far do you wanna go?? I would say put on 34mm carb. I wouldnt go much bigger then that.

  4. Well im still waiting on more jets now. But i have in it right now 155 mains, 52 pilot. I have the 22cc domes (145 psi) . Like the thing will pull pretty decent through 1-5th gear, and even 6th gear until its about 75% reved out then it will fall on its face. The thing is grossly rich. It wont idol. You can see the fuel comming out back through the carbs. Im gunna Try a 40 pilot. oh maby a 35 even.
  5. I finally got mine running. Mine does the same thing in 6th gear about 75% reved out it will fall on its face. Im still waiting on different jets. The thing wont idol.
  6. Run the Leaded fuel, its better for the engine. Keeps stuff lubed up.

  8. Oh fuck ya!! that will work good. You ll have to run serious octain with that 17cc dome. Like straight 112. What make of engine kit is this?? and is it a 465cc??
  9. Whats the cc of this motor? It should still run good with stock timing. Maby your jetted incorrectly? I used to have stock carbs on my 404, had to put huuge jets in it.

  12. Its the exhaust pipe im checking the temp on. The jugs are a tad different, but not by much. The pipes are way different, iv even swapped plug wires to see if it makes a difference. But it doesnt. Maby its not a big deal though?? im not to sure, i would think they should be fairly equal.
  13. You can buy Big Bore jugs ready to go ranging from 66-68mm. They look factory from the outside.
  14. I dont think this is my case, i tested it with 28mm carbs, then a few days ago i finally got my 34's together and put them on, same thing. I also checked Compression, pretty much equal on both sides. Im not too sure what it could be?

Iv been tuning my new 421 from vito's, And i put the laser on both pipes to see the how hot they were, and the left side (shifter side) runs about 60-80 degreese hotter then the right side ( Brake Pedal side) ?? Carbs are in sync, same jets on both sides, plugs are gapped the same, Im not sure why they are so much different ? Also i can tell by the plugs the Hotter side is nicely browning up, and the other side is more darker. Anyone eles have this problem? ? My engine only has about 10 minutes of run time on it, and its not yet perfectly tuned. But i would think they should be closer temperature wise.
  16. Ya my squish is the 0.039 as well. I do think my gauge is off, im gunna get a friends and put it on , see what it reads

  19. No we CC'd it. 16.6 cc 's of oil it took to fill the 1 cyclinder at top center, it worked out to 14:1 for compression ratio. Unless vito's messed up with marking the domes. Their suppose to be 22cc. I live near London Ontario. Not sure the sea level. i think like 650 above??
  20. I agree. Go to your local Air port, they usually will sell avegas. Its better and cheaper then Race Gas. Its good for about 190 PSI.
  21. Ya screw it all the way in. as long as you put in 1.5 litres you ll be good. the dip stick dont mean shit. if it reads over full thats ok.
  22. It takes 1.5 litres, orr a quart and a half. thats what the 1500cm3 stands for. and doesnt matter if its cold or hot. And yaa you should put the dip stick back in lol.
  23. Their is a line that connects the 2 carbs together, its a pretty big line. My buddys banshee did this, he could not figure out what the fuck was wrong. and he noticed the line had fallen off. he put a new one on and it ran like a charm. See if its missing!!
  24. Clean the engine parts with a "parts cleaner ", its pretty much varsol.. and im not sure about the rest lol. harness's arent that bad. they just look scary. Lay it back int and start matching up the males and females.
