  5. Not a 97, but Im pretty sure I have a killswitch and headlight config, from an 01, will it work?
  6. OK, so Ive got 2 buddies who are looking for parts, and they know that our site kicks ass over theirs, so theyve asked me to post up on here. First guy has an 86 Honda 250r 3 wheeler with a hairline crack in his swinger, therefore hes looking for a new or used one in good condition, stock length or +2 max. Next guy has an 06 LTR 450, and is looking for Fox floats, or Evo Xs for the front end, but let me know what you have. Were in Ontario Canada, so lets talk shipping as well, thanks!
  7. Im interested in that rear disc, as well as what type of pegs you were mounting up? Im looking for a set of IMS pegs or equivalent? Please PM me.
  8. Every guy or girl on here has a set of TORS that they would give up in a heart beat, anty up guys! You can have mine for free if you want them, you pay the shipping, Im in Ontario. Just PM me if nobody else offers. The carb mod is easy, you can buy the kit from a sponsor or egay. Basically new carb tops, a cable and a drill and tap set to help install new idle screws in the carb bodies.
  9. Im not sure how to do it, but apparently there is a mod you can do to the float bowls on the OKOs as well, to prevent them from starving the carbs of fuel. Maybe thats also part of the problem?
  10. Im looking for a black rad shroud for my buddies 87, must be in good condition.
  11. Nice Bike! If you part it, Id be interested in those pegs, let me know which direcrtion this heads in, good luck on the sale.
  12. Bump for a good guy and an awesome seller. Worked on deals with him in the past, and would not hesitate to deal with him again, and look at those pics and the link, thats the way to do it!
  13. Im looking for a place to start with my jetting. When the carbs came to me, they had 158 mains, and 52 pilots in them. All of my mods and my elevation are in my sig, and keep in mind, Im in southern Ontario, Canada. No its not -50, more like -10 C. Thanks in advance for the help.
  14. Got a set from another member, thanks!
  15. Also need to know your mods and relation to sea level to help with jetting, as well as location.
  16. Youre right, its not the same.....................Its better! I have that much more appreciation for everything now.
  17. I had a guy who I know call and ask me this. It kinda puzzled me. His VF2s reeds have a plastic insert on the carb side that goes horizontally across the width of the throat of the reed. This piece which goes horizontally across the throat, is holding the non moving end of the reed itself, and therefore cannot be removed. When mounting them onto the stock intakes, the horizontal piece is in the way of the raised plastic nodes which are part of the intake. Does he cut the nodes off, or what? It doesnt seem right, but I was kinda puzzled.
  18. The main jet is the small brass hex one when you open up the float bowls, the pilot is only accessible when you remove that plastic piece, its slides up towards you. The pilot is tiny, and you will need a small jewellers type of screwdriver to access it at the bottom of the hole that gets uncovered(in a nutshell anyway).
  19. Thats what I was thinking, thats why I said my carbs were too big for trails. Id stick with a 30mm carb max, and a trail or MX port on a stock stroke, it just depends on the trails.
  20. Yeah those are sweet, love the sled. Matt, clearly its a touchy subject, leave him alone!
  21. Welcome to your new home , I think its awesome that at 13 your into this, keep it up man!
  22. Dont do it man! I remember 20 years ago when I traded in my 1st banshee towards another machine, so does my wife, I regretted it every day since then til I bought another one.
