  1. Clean bikes man, shame to part them out! Good luck with the sale. PM sent.
  2. What is it, just a standard airbox, or is it the pro flow adaptor with filter, or K&N or ? Pics would be nice?
  3. Alright, Im gonna order one from Jeff, thanks for the suggestion. I bought a set of wires from UAP, is it as simple as cutting the correct end off the wire, pushing it up into the coil, and onto the cap, is it that easy?
  4. Nope, no access to a sync tool, but I could buy one if its something I should have. I have looked at them in the past, is there one type/style thats a better type than another? Both cylinders are running at 125-130lbs
  5. Send me a shipped price on the pipe springs (how many do you have), and Id take the set of allen bolts you have for both side covers if youd seperate them?
  6. Id be interested in just the brake mechanism if ree-ree wants the cable?
  7. Yeah,I just bought a modquad one as well, to hopefully fit on the LSR axle that I have. I found a pair of locknuts in my box of parts that fit on it, so Im hoping to replace them with it.
  8. Ok, so its idling correct, but one of the cylinders doesnt seem to be running correctly. The right one has the familiar ning ning ning ning ning as it idles, but the left seems to be making the occasional kinda pop ning ning pop etc onlt really subtle, you can hardly hear it.........................sorry for the sound effects, I felt it was the best way to explain? Any ideas? I have been presently trying to dial in my PJs with another member.
  9. Ok, so Ive just finished installing ,my buddies motor after a complete rebuild, and now the kicker wont turn? It dont remember ever checking the kicker mechanism, but I did turn the motor over the day that I put the cool head on the top end, by turning the clutch. I have had the clutch cover off, and the kicker gear is returning diagonally back to the case as it should, and the spring doesnt appear to be getting hung up, so Im wondering if their is anything else thats obvious that I should be checking, before I open the cases back up and start looking around?
  10. X2 I run VF3s now, but before I ran the exact setup youre asking about on those triple ported cylinders. I believe its because of the composition of the reed material that theyre not needed.
  11. You should PM rideracelive, and ask him how his Boyesen radvalves compare to his VF3s, I think he has run both. I know that the rad valves have had 2 versions over the years, but the Vf series are on their 3rd edition. Lots of guys run Vfs, not a tonne of Boyesen. Theyre around the same price.
  12. Yeah that should read 162 mains, 52 pilots. The 170 was where I started at, but with the help of 252wheelieking, Ive dialed it in nicely. Any help on the coil? Banshee andrider, thanks for the idea, Ill look into it further.
  13. Billett Cases, huhmmmmm! I think a little beyond me right now, but glad to have you aboard! Welcome!
  14. all the motors are the same from 87 -06 when they stopped making them for us!
  15. Theres a place called PJ motorsports under the site sponsors, and all they sell is jets, carbs .......etc, They helped me out with all of my jetting, and shipped quick.
  16. I have had a few guys answer, but I have had 3 different answers, so my question is can you use a coil from an a arm model, on a j arm? It seems like the mounting holes on my buddies 87, are closer together than the coil that I have. I can always make a bracket, but Im wondering if any harm would come, or if anyone knows for sure?
  17. Could you do the motor complete? If so, what kinda price are you looking for? Also interested in the pipes, could you send a few better pics to fulldeck@rogers.com?
  18. Still have the pipes? Im quite interested. What about the complete engine, is it still available?
  19. PM me with a list of the aftermarket stuff. I just bought a 96 last week. Anything wrong with the motor? Any pipes?
