  1. I am curious to see how this turns out. I have a 2 stroke Kawasaki Stand up jet ski and I know there are kits on the market to convert them to EFI. I know the motors are set up different, but I have seen it done on both a reed inducted 550 two stroke and a piston port 550 two stroke. Here is a picture of the kit for sale on another forum made by Injected Research Specialists bought from west coast for a 550 reed motor. I can post up contents if any is curious. I also know that JSR Performance has been successful in putting an EFI kit on a Banshee. I don't know a lot about Fuel Injection for 2 strokes but I am sure it would be a fun project.
  2. Call Jeff at F.A.S.T, he has them.
  3. Call Stellar Machine, tell him your a BansheeHQ member and he will take care of you. He is a great guy and his product is top notch. You won't find your self bending a set of his J Arms very easy by any means. Here are a couple of pics of mine. +2+1 with hd ball joints and yfz tie rod ends. Sorry I don't have a strait on pic.
  4. I run an 89 j arm bike and love the uniqueness of it. If you aren't planning on jumping a lot, a j arm bike will be just fine. Not to mention the front end is a bit lighter. I use mine for duning and have had stellar machine build me a set of j arms that are second to none in reliability and quality. I personally would not second guess my front end against an a arm bike by any means, but that's just my opinion. Others might disagree.
  5. Wish I would have seen this, I would have come down.
  6. TTT Anyone, obo... Will work out trade for 33 or 35 pwks plus cash as well.
  7. I have a stock swing arm that I am willing to powder coat, flat black, gloss white, silver chrome, gloss red, or black chrome. $ 75 shipped if anyone interested. Obviously need a couple of days to ship so I have time to powder coat it in your desired color. I can try to do this with pivot bolt bearings in, you can decide if you want to replace them when you get it.
  8. I will let you know when we go. Still trying to figure that out.
  9. Anyone interested in makeing a trip out to Finger Lakes in Columbia, MO within the next few weeks? I Dont ride much dirt, but couple of guys i ride with said its not a bad ORV park, so migh give it a try. Let me know, would like to get a few others to come out.
  10. Hook me up Cam, I will Jocky that thing. Might scare the shit out of me a pass or two, but would be fun.
  11. I have decent power for how I built my bike, but could never get it to the wheels correctly and jacked up just about every launch Friday. Pretty sure I was running to much paddle.
  12. zillafreak I think I might have been in the same boat with you on the slowest Banshee, so you got some competition of the slowest bike award, ha ha. Good meeting all you, look forward to doing it again.
  13. I need a banshee 0 offset front wheel, 3+3. Prefer solid center and made from aluminum. Let me know what you got or if you know where I can get one. Thanks
  14. You can either get a longer steering stem or JDS Customs makes a billet handle bar riser that pretty slick looking. He can make you the rise of your choice. http://www.jdscustoms.com/Handle_Bar_Risers_.htm
  15. You shouldn't need to split cases to replace the items talked about unless you want to look at your shift drum and forks like Tim mentioned.
  16. Hour ahead of you. Just pulling into wichita.
  17. I agree, I think you are way too lean. If I remember correctly, I was running a 25 pilot and a 320 main with pro circuits, stock stroke, with a very very mild trail port, more of just a clean up port job. I am at like 870 ft in elevation.
  18. I think it adds character.
  19. F.A.S.T sells the stock shift shafts that he modifies as well as all the other components. I have his modified shift shaft, ez spring, and shift star and my bike shifts like a dream.
  20. Leaving Kansas City at 5 am tomorrow. Looks like wind and no rain tomorrow down there, good deal.
  21. Well damn, I was looking forward to his comment on this post.
  22. Not sure this is possible seeing as the clutch basket and gear are some what covering the shift star. Sounds like the shift spring is wore out or the shift shaft is not adjusted correctly. If it is not perfectly centered, it can play a lot of games with you.
  23. Bring them, I got a buddy that has a 250r and a custom 3 wheeler we built that might take them off you. Will try to hook up with you when we get down there to take a look at them. I am sure there are others that may be interested at that price. I will pass the word around in my group.
  24. I run an aftermarket radiator, high flow billet impeller, and engine ice. I rarely see my bike over 170-180 degrees, but I also don't ride in the summer so that makes a difference too.
  25. Do it the easy way, put a clear one way hose one the bleeder, you can get this at the auto parts store. Then suck on it while someone repetitively pumps the brake. Stop sucking on the line as soon as you see fluid in it obviously. Cuts the time in half. I believe they make contraptions that do this for you as well, just cheaper this way.
