  1. Now i have another problem. i noticed that one of my needles is thicker then the other and it smokes more from one exhaust because of it. What kind of needles do you think i should buy?. my bike isnt stock so i dont know which ones to buy, and there stock carbs
  2. You think its lean? should i clean just the pilots or everything?
  3. hey guys ive had some trouble with my banshee back firing sometimes . it used to do it sometimes when i went riding but now its more often. i know one of my needles is thicker then the other so but i switched them and it only back fires from the same side so i know thats not it. (im going to order matching needles) also i switched the plug caps and my coil is new and the back fire is still from the same side. im thinking maybe i need to clean the carb? also i read the carb bowls could be switched? help me out i dont like having trouble with my baby.
  4. hey man the take off in 2nd gear with that sprocket is much better. i cant keep the front end down though, now i just need to get a longer swing arm.
  5. one of my friends had told me to run 14 45 but theres other people here telling me to just run 13 42! i dont know what to do now
  6. So you think i should just change the rear one to a 42? because i thought i would need to change the front one right now because the take off sucks. its alot of rpms but not any take off

  8. thanks for the advise. im going to order a complete shifting rod from cascade, modded shift star, and the shift star spring. hopefully this fixes the problem. i wanna be able to race my bike again and ride it like i used too.
  9. I've had my banshee for a couple a months and its been in and out of the shop with carb trouble well now the carbs are good but that last time i took it riding i was trying to race and it would downshift on its own. i have have gone throuqh all 6 gears on the street and hard pack with the knobbies and it will run perfect without down shifting. but as soon as i hit the sand with my paddles it runs good for a little then starts down shifting. its down shifted from 2nd to 1st 3rd to 1st 5th to fourth. and as soon as i have speed and wanna go up steep hills in the dunes and say im in 3rd gear as soon as it gets up ward it just down shifts to 1st please let me know if you guys have an idea of what it can be. i just wanna be able to ride my banshee with out having problems. 96 banshee 65mm pistons ported milled head v force stock carbs 6 in k&n pod filters 4 mill hot rod crank 22x11x8 10 paddle tripple buffed haulers
