  1. You can buy the retainers from FAST to open up the inlet of the VF3's. I believe you just modify the reeds your self. When I got my new intakes for my 35's I was told to match the inlet to the intake by using a dremel.
  2. How about providing a link to your auction items on here so we can just click and view?
  3. I have a set, but you can buy new from FAST, call Jeff. They are cheap.
  4. Price originally was $185 plus shipping, price now is $165 shipped as changed in the first post. This is a hell of a deal! Call or PM Matt at SoCal Suspensions and he can give you a number to a shop in Cali that services shocks and does good work. (he provided me this info in the shout box and said they are top notch guys, just can't remember the name of the company) Good luck with the sale!
  5. I have a j-arm bike and ride the shit out of it in the sand. No issues, stock ball joints were still fine when I bought it 3 years ago and mine is an 89. The bushings are cheap unless you buy the brass ones like phelps said, but they last longer. Sure hope you picked that frame up. Just forget about a arm bikes, j-arms are way better ha ha.
  6. This is just a feeler to see if someone is willing to trade or trade + cash. I have a swing arm shop +2 swing arm, powdered gloss black in excellent condition. I have had no issues with this swing arm, I just need something a bit longer. Obviously I will send the chain with it too. It is one year old with about 6 rides on it.
  7. No they won't. You will need to buy new filters when you go to bigger carbs.
  8. I over paid for my frame at $310. Thats why I do it my self now. Sounds like a good deal to me.
  9. yeah just like savages picture.
  10. You need to cut a lot more of the threads off. I would cut all the way to the washer.
  11. Glad to hear you are alright and it wasn't worse. My buddy broke his collar bone in 2 places with a floating bone fragment on last years banshee hq ride. He ended up getting a metal plate and 7 pins, turned out to be a pretty big suck. We weren't at the dunes for more than 4 hours on a Thursday when it happened either. Hope for a speedy recovery, let's see some pics for sure.
  12. Buy a set of Skat Trak Edge's, you wont be disappointed. Not to mention they weigh a shit load less then what you have pictured above. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/50/-/165/723/-/6049/Skat%7ETrak-Edge-ATV-Tire
  13. I run shearers with no issues. Coupelx is selling some original rockets.
  14. No problem, glad to help!
  15. You can do the leak down test with the fluids in it. I would say you have a leak in the head gasket. Spray around the leak down tester and boots that block off the exhaust. Sometimes they leak too.
  16. I got the full stock front brake line setup I would sell ya. Just pm me an offer.
  17. I got a set as well, has a few extra jets (25 pilot, 27.5 pilot, 320,340,360 mains) and needles (new) to go with them. They have aftermarket needles in them now. Rebuilt about 3 trips to the dunes ago and I will throw in a set of intakes that are cut to fit v force reeds as well as TORS eliminator kit. Just pm me if interested.

  19. I agree with this statement. I had the same problem on my bike and if the eccentric screw is not perfectly centered in the shift shaft it can cause all sorts of shifting issues. I had to adjust mine about 3 times to get it right where it would let me shift at high rpm's and or keep it from finding a neutral.
  20. That's the case on usually anything bigger than a 4mill. No big deal.
  21. You can sand blast them, just don't blast the case half mating surfaces. I would consider a Billet clutch basket and the shift shaft mod. You can get these from Jeff at FAST.
  22. You are most certainly wrong bud. You can run a 4mill crank in stock cases with out trenching.
  23. Ha ha, I have mine tied to the pull sting for the overhead light in the basement. Might have to throw it back on the shee.
  24. This should tell you everything you need to know about testing the electrical components of a banshee. Check everything out and report back with what you find. http://www.dfn.com/agservices/elecfaq.html
