  1. Oh man that doesn't sound good. I tried the link with no luck.
  2. threebond 1211, no complaints.
  3. R2s hands down. Personal experience found the R2s have more power under the curve than T5s, hit right in the same rpm as t5s (5500ish) and pull a lot farther and longer than the T5s could. Plus they look and sound cooler!
  4. The cub will have a lightswitch "slingshot" feel to it. The serval has a smoother hitting powerband and a wider more forgiving powerband with slightly less top end. The serval will make you faster in the woods. If you find you're dropping below the powerband during hill climbs the serval will make you faster in that area too. Either the serval or the cub will pull a lot harder than that vitos junk.
  5. Used veggie oil from McDonalds. Way cheaper.
  6. Welcome to the site. First off, you do not put any oil into the crankcase. The reason you blend a lubricant with your fuel is to lubricate your rotating assembly's bearings and seals which are found in the crankcase. I would change the transmission fluid and coolant right away. Go over all suspension, steering, and brake components. Grease all that can be greased and check every bearing, bushing, joint, and pivot point for tightness and wear. verify the compression of each cylinder. perform a plug chop to ensure proper jetting... address the jetting if it is incorrect. Pull all electrical connections and dab with dielectric grease. Buy a clymer's repair manual and perform a complete tune-up. Also, you have R2 pipes. They are nice pipes (what I run). Tom Borrink does not stamp any logos or identification onto the pipes. As for jetting they seem to like a leaner pilot jet compared to other top end pipes.
  7. Adjust the slides so that both pull the same vacuum at idle. Use your sync tool to measure the vacuum so that you have a reference point.
  8. Plugs are easier to change with these pipes than with T5s
  9. It does have paul turner drag pipes....
  10. Technically it isn't rape if he enjoys it....
  11. Excellent advice! I do this every time and mix at 31 parts oil, 1 part fuel, and 1 part grape nitromethane scent.
  12. Proper maintenance and routine checks/adjustments go a long way. But remember, these are off-road tires that are NOT balanced....
  13. As long as you provide pictures. haha, just playin.
  14. While 200 degrees is okay (I would start to worry around 215) I usually run between 170 trailing to almost 200 abusing it. I never let mine idle unless its to warm it up to operating temp. Even if it is warming up, I still never let it idle for 8 minutes.
  15. That was awesome
  16. Haha. For an extra $5 he'll tickle your scrotum. Seriously, ban this idiot. He has no positive influence to this forum (or humanity).
  17. You can buy aftermarket banshee wheels that will fit!
  18. Elka, you sound a little immature and irresponsible to own a banshee yet anyway. Wait until your older kid.
  19. The prophecy has come true! Long ago, in BHQ history a dark evil lurked in these forums. He spoke of future events that would for sure doom the banshee race. One of which specifically told of a time where banshee owners who frequent the HQ could not figure out how to tighten their chain. Beware! The first seal has been broken. Hell upon the forums has been unleased. We are all doomed to the 8th circle of hell.... 4 strokes.
  20. This is a good lesson to be learned by every member who clicks on subjects in the FOR SALE section. As a buyer-assumptions are your worse enemy. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting before commiting to a deal. Make sure the seller knows what you intend to do with the part. Pictures are great and be hesitant to do the deal by phone without any written proof (just in case you end up in a sour situation). As a seller-don't be a bitch, post up accurate pictures and info on the part. To me, if you can't clean a part up then it is obvious you didn't care much about your stuff when you ran it so I tend to stay away from that. Also, know what you're selling. If you are selling a clutch assembly and don't know if the springs are stock or heavy weight, mention that. But not knowing the difference between a stock cylinder and a super-cub or super-wampus is rediculous (or Calvin is a genious making the wampus indetectable to the OWNER of the banshee) Mention the details so guys know what they are getting plain and simple. To Jimmychoo-This message is for you. Your attitude will not get you far on these forums. Using the excuse "I didn't know what it was" has no merit to me. It only proves that you are a stupid fuck. And then NOT trying to better the situation makes me want to punch you in the dick. Because we have a high post count means we live on here? Maybe we just have a passion for the sport and don't take kindly to idiots abusing the forums trying to make a shady buck.
  21. Can I put "I" in the blank? Since (to me) I built my banshee better than what yamaha built my banshee to be for me. hehe So are you talking about a manufacturer of ATVs or a shop who deals with aftermarket and repair? Because if Honda had built a power hungry twin cylinder two stroke sport quad I'd be in the honda forums right now
  22. With me, anticipation is worse than the event. No way am I saying "its no big deal". Just be confident and don't freak yourself out.... and videos of drugged people are way cooler.
  23. Customer satisfaction-produces products and tech support that wow the customer Accuracy- high quality parts and labor done right the first time Participate in the motorsports- get out there and meet some guys in the sport. Its free advertisement and a great opportunity to evolve.
  24. Its idiots like that who do dumb shit like boost bottles and gutted silencers and huge main jets then think they have some sort of 60hp hotrod lol
  25. Why waste bandwidth and potential seller's time if you don't know what you want? Why not just build (or have built) the motor you want instead?
