  1. Welcome to BHQ, This is a great site to begin with bro, lots of good people out there with valuable info.
  2. Well it's up to you bro, Depending how hot he bakes it at, i usually take em out since i have access to a press. Other people had them in with out any issues. I dont think it's going to get hot enough to melt your rubber away (thats what she said) LOL, anyway if you dont have access to a press or you dont want to go through the bullshyt hassle of takin em out, leave them suckers in there. Dont forget to post pics too.
  3. X2 You wouldnt want them to get soft on you
  4. Very much so. There's your reason why on had more compression than the other.
  5. It's the center of the swing as others said. But you have to measure with load (your weight) on the bike to get proper slack.
  6. X2 on that. If adjusting your float does not work you might have to replace the float needle.
  7. Keep us posted on how it ends up. Oh yeah nice seat cover. LOL
  8. Hey bro let us know and keep us posted. Oh yeah nice seat cover. LOL
  9. Welcome to BHQ. Sounds like you have a nice setup any pics?
  10. I think thats the cool thing about owning a banshee, parts are really cheap if you know where to look. Ebay is always a good start.
  11. Cool i will make sure i set my DVR
  12. I think think the year from 2000 and up had the newer plastic lenses. My bike is a 99 and it came with the glass lenses.
  13. I think think the year from 2000 and up had the newer plastic lenses. My bike is a 99 and it came with the glass lenses.
  14. I think in my Sig you can how mines are cut, pretty much like everone's on here.
  15. When i first had my shee i bought it fresh with uncut fenders and the first mod i did was put the exact same pipes your talking about. You dont have to cut your fenders at all. they tuck in nicely.
  16. Damn bro that looks good.
  17. Damn i missed it.
  18. Cutting the grills on the lights wont be a issue at all. With a dremel it's very easy to cut. I recommend fine sanding them when your done so there is no evidence of the grill guard. looks clean. Now as for the Light bulb themselves, If you have a stock stator you can only put 30W bulbs on each side. I would recommend upgrading your stator to a 200W then you can place any bulb you like, such as a 50w bulb. Hope this helps bro
  19. AWW Shit and i thought mine was custom!
  20. this topic has already been covered before. Im not sure what category but using the search feature will help you out good luck !
  21. Well it depends if your going to paint your frame or powdercoat it. If you take it to a sandblasting/media blasting shop make sure you tell them your gonna paint it/powdercoat it that way they can remove the paint the right way. The shyt in a can works but for frames its best to blast them
  22. Normally it dims when the rpm decreases. Something sounds reversed.
  23. Well There's a significant difference in the YFZ 450 and the YFZ450R The YFZ 450 is carbed after your long rides your thumb gets somewhat tired and sore. As for me i got used to it with my shee The YFZ 450 R is fuel injected which mean less maintenance on climate changes no tuning of carbs as well as less strain on thumb throttle, i know my neighbor has one. As well as the 450r is about 3 inches lower and longer travel suspension. Dude if you want a bike that will shine in the dunes. Get a banshee!! 4strokes are only good for trails and damn thats it i guess. LOL. The good thing about banshees is that you can set them up for whatever riding style you have. They are very versatile bikes. Also the parts for them are a whole lot cheaper and easier to mod! Tuning is easy if you know what your doing. Hope this helps!!
  24. Dude the TOKICO shocks are the best way to go. I have a 1992 turbo LS VTECH and man when i installed them with the front and back strut bars and replaced my bushings to polyeurothane the handling was a whole lot better. In your issue it might be a spring rate issue or a shock issue.
