I sold my 2005 YFZ 450 for a banshee and couldn't be happier. I still see some old school 80's banshee's running around the dunes... These quads will never fade away.
Craig, I think your jetting almost spot on or maybe one size too large in the mains. Something you should spend money on before you spend alot on a aftermarket radiator is some Engine Ice Coolant. I've heard people have huge temp drops with that stuff......... Your bike ran awesome last weekend besides the coolant problem....lets ride again soon man
Welcome to HQ and congrats om the banshee purchase! I run CPI's on my 06 special edition and absolutly love them, you can't go wrong. Hit up Wildcard Racing for some port work after you get pipes.
I would send your juggs into WILDCARD RACING and have them ported for your riding style. Porting is by far the best power gain for the money ! If your wanting bolt ons, reeds, timing plate...etc.
If you trail ride, I'm a huge fan of Pro Circuit Pipes.... I don't think you can go wrong with any aftermarket set up. Everyone will have there own opinion on the best trail riding pipes. -Good Luck
I put some pro tapers on my shee and was having the same problem. The BEST thing I've ever used is Gorilla Glue, those grips won't even move at all now!!
Check it out, you can pick it up at almost any hardware store: http://www.gorillaglue.com/
