  3. I bet that thing runs like a champ
  4. Yeah Brandon (WILDCARD RACING) is very helpful and honest. He is doing my aggressive dune port and crank true&weld. Any of our site sponsors are good and honest people.
  5. X2 Its the idle screw. Are the threads messed up at all? If not contact a site sponsor like Brandon at Wildcard and he will get you some new idle screws.
  6. Do a search here on "oil" and you could read all damn day. Everyone has their on preference just like chevy, ford, dodge, toyota....... I did lots of research and ended up going with Klotz R-50.
  7. What kind of riding you do really depends on what pipes suit you the best. If your doing trails pc's are really good. Personally I ride dunes all the time so I run CPI In-frames
  8. I didn't even know lucas offered a premix oil....I run Klotz R-50 .
  9. If they aren't opening up at the same time I would get a "carb sync tool". I got mine pretty close by just eyeballing it, but its still not perfect.
  10. haha good to know...thanks jeff. Just making sure I wouldnt be doing anything to affect the reliability of the machine.
  11. Would a good port job make my motor run hotter. What are the downfalls to a ported motor?
  12. Thats good to know about the crank. I'm going to get a dune port while its torn apart.
  13. No jetting. Don't forget to use loctite though
  14. Will getting port work done make my shee run hotter? What are some of the downfalls to a ported banshee? I just want to make sure this is something a should really do.
  15. While you guys are on the "impeller" subject what brand is everyone running?
  16. I just remembered my photo bucket picture (down below) is my bike at Sand Mountain with the beautiful mountain in the background!!
  17. Yeah like Brandon said there are plenty of spots to camp, you just need to decide if you'd like to camp in more of a "campground" like white sands or oasis...... or just camp right at sand mountain. 99% of the time I camp at the mountain. I ride out there about 6-7 months out of the year and love it. It does get extremely hot in the dead of the summer though!
  18. You really cant go wrong with either a NOSS or CHARIOT.........its all personal opinion and looks. I personally run a NOSS head, i like the head bolts recessed more in the head. They are both great products and have many friends with both!
  19. I've been doing alot of research on the whole "bigger carbs" mod. After talking to ALOT of people about performance mods and best bang for the buck, I've decided to wait on getting new carbs and spend my money on a good port job and crank true&weld. Alot of people on here have ported motors with stock carbs and they run awesome! From what people are telling me stock carbs are good too about 65hp, and they will run just fine with a ported motor. Call and talk to a site sponsor like Brandon from WILDCARD, Jeff from FAST, or Kevin from HJR. I dont think either one of them would steer you the wrong way.
  20. I live in Utah and went riding after our last big storm....it was good times but I like the summer better!

  22. Yeah my entire bike only has about 20-30 hours on it, if that. I'll be sending it in to have everything done really soon! Can't wait to see how she runs:)
