  1. I like simple green.
  2. Send it to a site sponsor that does it. That way you know its done right. I had Wildcard do mine.
  3. I've heard detonation does that to your plugs.....Maybe do a search. Don't even start it until you figure it out. Good Luck!
  4. EVERYONE will have a different opinion on this topic. I personally KLOTZ R-50, and have lot of friends who run r-50 and or super techniplate. My brother inlaw has a 2000 banshee that he bought brand new. He has ridden the shit of that bike and still hasn't done a rebuild yet..(it is barley starting to need one now after 10 years of dune riding) The only oil he has ever ran is R-50, so I'm pretty convinced its good stuff
  5. I've used stuff called "Blue Job" and it didn't hardly do a thing.
  6. Do it yourself.... he said "I may have leaned it out too much".....thats no good. If its your top end just go up with your mains.
  7. Check your choke tube. If you messed with the carbs at all it could have came off.....My dumbass did that and my shee wouldnt start at all.
  8. I'll have to find a polishing shop around here.....I would rather polish them instead of having them ceramic coated. There is a powder coating shop by my house that does ceramic coating though, maybe I'll check that out.
  9. I don't have any experience with fmf's on a shee, but I've heard they are a good mid range pipe. If you want more on top maybe it's time for some CPI inframes?? Oh and IMO ditch the boost bottle
  10. Yeah I've heard Cascade does good work.....I'll have to see how expensive it would be. I wonder how well ceramic coating the first 6 inches of the pipe would hold up?
  11. So when I bought my 06 shee the guy before me put some chrome cpi inframes on and the bike was running pretty lean when I bought it. My problem is the pipes are pretty damn blue, 6 to 8 inches up and it drives me crazy...... Could I get them re-chromed? I've heard show chrome is really good and wont discolor at all, is this true? Who does good chrome work I could send them too? I've already tried good polishes and not much improvement. Thanks guys, -Zach
  12. X2 Get it ported and crank welded. A good port job and some CPI Inframes will make that thing scream!
  13. Yeah you will want to stay away from large water puddles.
  14. I've decided to get my wheels powder coated flat black. My question is, how well will it hold up riding at the dunes? Or is this something that will only last a year or two? Thanks -Zach
  15. Sorry to hear. Good to know though. Hope you can atleast somehow get your cash back
  16. The day I bought my bike, I drained the stealerships gas out of it and when right to using amsoil. I ended up switching to Klotz R-50 soon after and will stay with Klotz
  17. I've heard you notice a decent differance with stock ported reed cages, but not like v-force 3's. Not sure on the tools. Send them to Wildcard Racing, he will port them way nice!!
  18. I'm no expert but IMO, spacers are only made for clearing bigger carbs. Too me it sounds like more possible air leaks as well.
  19. Start with a big main, then you can work your way down. You always want to be a little more rich, instead of being too lean.
  20. Port it. Hit up Wildcard, my bike screams now that its ported
  21. Congrats on the new pipes, you'll like the pc's for sure! Get it jetted and keep us posted. Here is something good to read if your new to jetting: http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Rememeber its better to be a little on the rich side than too lean.
  22. Yeah mine are chrome but dont look that nice. I've thought about getting my ceramic coated inside...
