  1. My boys and I do the same thing, just for shits and giggles. but sometime we have to prove something. Lol no waht I mean. We built a track out in the edge of town in a river bed, it's pretty cool only thing that sucks is we have to maintain it. A buddy of mine is in the 300 pound area but doesn't stop him from letting shit ripe. Here is my youtube video, check it out.
  2. Here my piece of shit. 87 GMC blazer with a 91 front clip conversion, sittin on some 33x15.50-15 super swamper sx and 15x18 weld sr-28.
  3. That shits funny. Same story for me, but i weight 225. When I have to prove something, a buddy of mine will take over little fucker only weights a buck 30. Damn thing moves like a rocket.
  4. The torque guy is sandman81, get it right. BITCH. Hahahaha. Joking aside. Are you serious, your using Dynojet number as a source of reference, let me give you some advise when it comes to having a debate. Use a source that is reliable and credible and you should always research your source. Dynojets are the most controversial dyno on the market. They are known for giving high hp numbers. Reason is they give you hp numbers based on how fast they spin the weight of the rollers. So if you spin them in 4th then in 6th you'll get a variable of hp numbers. Others dyno measure hp numbers by the amount of force the tires apply on the rollers. So no matter what gear your in the hp numbers don't change much. The reason I mentioned torque, was because you guys where saying how heavy the ds is. So the higher torque numbers will compensate for the weight. Torque is what moves weight. Look, you are simply a desktop racer. You made a comments about the ds650 "Never raced against one, but you don't need to race one to feel how fast it is." So your argument holds no weight here.
  5. That is so true. But pretty sure one of these guys might have a argument for that too. LOL.
  6. That shit was established some post back, rider experince is one of the biggest parts.
  7. Never raced against one but you know how fast it is. Seat of your pants feeling don't mean shit, racing is what will tell you whats fast. OH, YES. I'm starteing with the torque shit. So what's a "different way" about the banshee torque?
  8. And low end is reffered to the rpms being low. ALL engines have to stay in a certain range of rpms some low and some high and even higher then others. As much as I hate to say it. The ds650 has better odds.
  9. Ok a powerband is simply the range in which a engine makes the most horsepower and torque, in relation to each other. The banshee torque comes on strong that's why it snaps you back, and a four stroke gradually rises, reason why a four stroke don't feel fast compared to a two stroke.
  10. Do you even know what "Powerband" is.
  11. Hp always gets the credit when it comes to racing. You guys are forgetting TORQUE. Ds has something are banshee don't and that is torque. What do you guys think moves that heavy ass bike.
  12. No, That would have been the transmission oil, I don't believe it has anyting to do with the crank. The only thing I can think of is maybe a bad bearing or so some shit got into the bearing when you where putting it together.
  13. Option 1 way to go. I would recommend Chariot Performance's bigger bowls and a pingel petcock, PET COCK, HAHAHAHAHA FUNNY WORD.
  14. First time I've heard that. No, you'll be fine.
  15. OH HELL NOW. It well smoke a raptor 660. All my boys have ds650 from stock to running on nitrous, I was surprised as how fast a stock ds is. If it's running good and has it dialed in, it would be a good race. Just make sure you have your bike dialed in. Remember it's not all bike, rider's experience plays a big part. I've seen stock ported banshee with all bolt on's beat a non experience rider on a 7mil on alcohol. Good Luck, try and get some video see how it goes.
  16. We go out pass ryan's airfield, it's a track that we built in a river. Its cool because nobody messes with us or the track, since we're the ones who have to take care of it. No shit thats what I tell them. Ive eaten shit and if I didn't have it on I probably would have broken my face.
  17. Where I race at I think I would just eat up the aluminium sprockets Couldn't believe how affordable the Jt are, thought they might be a shitty quality. Thanks, got me feeling better about them.
  18. Thanks man. I hope to make another one, got get some video of a turbo 1000cc gsx powered banshee that races with us.
  19. Hey guys I'm going to change my gearing and was wondering what is a good brand and metarial, steel vs aluminium. Seen the JT Sprocket, 20 bucks for the rear and 13 bucks for the fronts on ebay, and I was wondering if they are any good. Is there anybody running them or what else is a good brand.
  20. I'm reposting it, video forum, because i figured more memebers check out the General Banshee Discussion forum. Hope you guys like it.
  21. Hahahaha, thats why I didn't want to try and get ahold of him this way. It's cool he got back to me.
  22. Now I think some thing is up. I sent you a pm when you where logged on and you didn't even get back to me.
  23. I have sent to you three pm and one email regarding the free peg extender raffle you posted, I was the winner of. You haven't responded about when they where sent or if they where sent. Its was three weeks ago from when you where going to send them and I haven't received them. I know you have logged on to HQ but I don't know if your ignoring my pm or you didn't get them. I didn't want to go about it this way for the simple fact that they where free and it didn't cost me anything. But at the same time I don't think it's cool to give something away if your not going to honor it. So I hope you see this and could get back to me or a fellow HQer could see whats up. free raffle
  24. You are so right.
  25. Yeah no shit loco, what gives, playing favorites. O, yeah. Better idea then the cheese ass slogan you came up with.
