  1. hahahahaha. that dam CSD (compulsive stupidity disorder). is acting up again.
  2. the banshee to me is the best, now i happen to have a 421. but i think that has to due to my CSD (compulsive stupidity disorder). :: now can you mod a fourwheeler like a banshee. yeah, you can mod anything if you have the money and the know how. and from what my boys spend to mod there four strokes compared to the shee. the shee is cheaper and easier. just like rollins said is all preference. i mean shit i use my 421 to trail ride. i'll put it this way. 5 gallons of race fuel and premix. $60 421 cub. $2000 icy/hot because stoke suspension kicks my ass. $6 the rush :woot: i get from 90hp and the look :verymad: on my 4 stroke friends when i blow by them at 1/4 throttle. PRICELESS  thats my mastercard moment.
  3. i just called him and he told me it wasn't. the ebay post was wrong, something to do with a guy from out of the country wanted it and he wasn't mailing it out of the country. so he needded to repost because he put, outside u.s you pay what ever ship charges. so yeah he still has it.
  4. hopefully this is in the right forum, don't want loco to chew me out. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/rvs/1057156901.html this is a 370 engine that is being sold here in arizona. a couple of weeks back this engine was on a white shee with a desert tank. the guy wanted 2300 or some thing like that. i guess he decide to part it out. try not to make a long story. but i talked him down to 1700, i went to go look at it and rode it, the bike ran like shit and back fired like crazy. the owner and his friend where there. i told the owner "for being a 370 i wasn't impressed and that a piped and jetted shee was way faster". his friend laughed and said "your crazy." i also told him that the bike had no top end, his friend said that "i wasn't changing gears fast enough and that it was over reving." he look at the sprokets and that was the reason because it was geared for the dunes, front sproket was 14 rear 41. this is were his friend made himself look like a ass, the friend got on the bike and took it down the street. he was like "shit ran fucking good to me." so we talked for bunch more, and i told him that "i didn't like the fact that it was back fireing." the freind then open the gas cap and said. "no wonder the gas smell bad, it's been sitting for a while." and here is when he shoved his foot in his mouth. "thats probably why it's running like shit and a piped banshee seems faster". now if that was true his friend would of never said, "shit ran fucking good to me." there was bunch more shit that made me think this bike was shit but that was the jist of it. another thing the friend also told me that the only way to tell if it is a true stroker 370 is by the spacer plate and that only stroker 370 have it. i belive the owner name is ken. hopefully he didn't sell the shee to someone and is parting it out. o yeah if ken is on here or his friend. DUDE YOUR A FUCKING CROOK.
  5. cool man, just looking out for a fellow shee lover. good luck with your build hope your happy.
  6. you guys are funny. but donkey is right. take it from another latino its mayne.
  7. if i'm reading this right, your gonna run 19cc domes on your 4 mill? is that right? if your are, i don't think you could run pump gas with that setup. i have a 4mil with 19cc domes and shee can't run on pump gas, i use 110 race fuel. i would double check, wouldn't want you to dump money in to it and then shee seizes on you. o and for BANSH-alena-jol-EE, just like everybody been saying, go with the 4 mil.
  8. how they come up with 100 octane is by testing the fuel, the aviation lean test, this test is like the mon (motor octane number). mon is the octane number you need to look for when using race fuel. it is a test that is the closest to the conditions that go on in your engine. so when looking at the octane numbers this is the MOST IMPORTANT NUMBER. the 130 octane is the aviation rich test, this test is determend by simulating a supercharged condition, elevated temperatures, and a high manifold pressure. if you look under http://www.aviationfuel.org/avgas/grades.asp thats is the same website you posted but it talks about the grades. stated by them "Avgas 100/130 can be used in some automotive engines. It has both research and motor octane numbers slightly over 100." i don't know what they consider slightly, is that like 100.5, 101, or 110. slightly could mean different things for different ppl. its called 100ll because thats what it probably is. i have friends that build the business class interiors for emirates and they tell me how anal they are and that they have strict rules about what can be done to the airplane. so i would think that there are strict guidelines when it comes to the fuel. imo. what i should of said is, lead increase the octane number in fuel. sorry about that my mistake. ::
  9. not to burst your bubble but vp 110 is a leaded fuel. fuel can only get high motor octane numbers by adding lead to it. the only thing i can think of is f&l 111 has a higher lead content the vp110.
  10. hey, how about a pony keg for a gas tank. that would be classic :yelrotflmao:
  11. here is what i can say about the issue. race gas like vp, torco, trick, shell and all other companys is, you have to know where to look for in octane ability. they all give you three different octane numbers. 1 mon (MOTOR OCTANE NUMBER) this is the one that you need to look for, this number is measured when fuel is under a load. 2 ros (RESERCH OCTANE NUMBER) this is the number the company came up with threw resarch under a control condition. 3 R+M/2: ( OCTANE NUMBER) that's the number you see on a yellow tag when you go to a gas station. it's the differece of mon and ros number (mon + ros= x/2) vp 110 for example. race fuel brand. mon 107 ros 113 R+M/2 110 Air BP av100 for example. a brand of avgas mon 100 so race fuel in this case would have a higher octane. if your going all out in your race engine why would you cut corners with your fuel. imo good info to know when storing race fuel, store in metal or plastic containers, black is the best. when using plastic, if you can see the fuel level it's to light. uv rays in sunlight breaksdown fuel. so keep it out of the sun. just like beer, sunlight can spoil beer and NOBODY likes spoiled beer.
  12. glad you liked it. sorry my photoshop didn't come out that good, i didn't put alot of time in to it either. i'm pretty sure you got the jist of it
  13. black plastics with red frame. i even included in idea i had for my next shee.
  14. here is a black plastics with blue frame.
  15. thanks  yeah, when i read he wanted those colors, i wasn't feeling it either. so i had to show him
  16. blue plastics and red frame.
  17. if you want to get some ideas in color combos. on the forums page. go to where it say media forum, click on the images, you'll find forum topics scroll down and you'll find ****Post those Shee Pictures****, click on there and you can get some ideas. 20 some pages of pics. maybe come up with something different. i know there is a red frame and black plastic shee on there. you could even go to this website http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/banshee/color.aspx and you can see the history of the shee colors. 94 and 95 are pretty kick ass :yucky:.
  18. carbon fiber black or white? i know maier sells white and black. candy red frame and black would look bad ass, but it's been done so many times it's getting old. full plastics or cut? i'll try and photoshop you a bike in the colors you asked. will need some time.
  19. Ones again thanks for the bike. I LOVE IT. Can't wipe the Smile of my face. And don't worry i'll take good care of her. THANKS

  20. hahaha. yeah the people at those dealerships rarely know shit. a friend and i were at a dealer ship last week, he was buying some parts for his shee, i was looking at the new kfx700. and a salesman started to feed me the "you ready to get on something" line and blah blah blah. but i asked him about the kfx, and that i heard there pretty fast. he was like "not really, the raptor 700 was WAY faster cuz it is a manual and the kfx is a auto". i was like "you sure" and he said "YEAH" with a positive voice, and then my friend walks in to the coversaion and he tells the salesman, "are you sure", he was like "YEAH", i was like "i don't know". salesman say, "I I WOOOULD THINK SO". i was thinking to my self what a dumbass. thats even happen to me at a car dealerships. o yeah by the way new to the site. site kicks ass
