  1. yeah that was me. Shit a small world.
  2. O shit really you guys were there too. I was camped out right in front in the toy hauler, had the banshee i was with bobby's dad Beto.
  3. Yeah i was out there with Racers Edge, There holding it down for King Of The Hill. Should of seen everybody out there when we were taking down the fencing, they looked like hawks just waiting for us to move so they can run up the hill.
  4. Yeah it was so smooth, was out there doing some night racing. It sucked my piece of shit burnt the clutch up early sat so i wasn't getting any good runs that night. Hey were you out there sat night racing up the hill. Seen a guy wearing a BHQ shirt. I tried to track him down but i lost him in the dark.
  5. What your jeting at right now. I dont see why your setup shouldn't be on premium fuel. If your gonna mix here a good website. Octane Calculator
  6. How much do you weight? Thats very important information.
  7. Fuck, Glamis is the shit. I loved it there, you guys were right i didn't want to leave. Left Tucson at 4 am friday morning got to glamis at 9 am. Unloaded the bikes and by 10:30 am we were riding. Didn't stop riding till 11 pm, only went back to camp, twice just to refuel and grap something to snack on. Got up Saturday at 7 am, were so beat from the day before. We left camp at 11 am, But that was just to go to vendor alley and check out comp hill, went back to camp by 2pm. What was so funny is that we were so hyped to go ridding but no one was getting a move on, friday riding kicked are ass. We rode from 5 pm till 1 am sunday morning. Sunday morning, up at 7 am. Wanted to get some last minute dunning before we came back to Tucson, planed to leave by 12. We started to dune by 9 am. Duned the back side of olds. We had to stop because my friend lost 3 wheel lugs, but luckly we found one so we just cruised back to camp. Of course we left late 2 pm. I loved it there so many people, so much shit going on and so many places to ride. Only thing i wish is we should of done was to take it easy that friday because I missed all the banshee drag that saturday. All and all i had a great time.
  8. Your partially right. But timming can be a decide factor. For example, my friend's banshee has 18cc domes an had +4 or +5 timming, cant remember, Vforce reeds and the cranking compression is like 175, the rest is stock, but everybody told use that we were crazy for running it on pump gas, 91 octane. We raced that bike every sunday for like 2 months straight he even took it on a 3 hour trail ride, never had a problem. But know we're running 110 because the timming got bumped up to +7. Thats why we need to know what is done to the engine, dome size, bore, stroke. and timing. And that's what going to help him to see what he really needs.
  9. I just said fuck it and mounted the tail light on. Click on the pics they gets bigger. Just riged up the wire to see if it worked.
  10. Thats actually a very good idea. Also do what heathen told you. post pics of that too, make sure the piston is at its highest point. If its got wiseco piston look on top of the piston and try and make out the numbers, that will tell you if it had been bored or bone stock.
  11. LOL. If you in san antonio you elevation is 650. Lets start by what do you know about your bike. Is it stock 350 twin.
  12. Thats actually a damn good idea, Gonna see what i can come with. Thanks.
  13. I'm a dumbass, i seen those i didn't even think what they were for. LOL Yeah, i would be better off. That will only take a couple of minutes and the result should be almost the same.
  14. Hey do are AZ ohv sticker work for glamis? i don't want to have to buy another one for glamis, cuz then ill really be pissed.
  15. I wasn't aware of that. Ill look in to that, if you got some sites that will be better. If go banshee, then it will be 1-5 duneable.
  16. Thats some funny shit. Yeah i seen those buggies on a youtube video, those are the only ones i'll be worrying about if i do need to run. But i should be good don't plan on doing to many stupid shit, But then again you never know. Yeah my first time to glamis. Ive gone to some dunes in mex, but i heard it's like ten times the amount of poeple. I'm siked, so we'll see how it goes.
  17. Yeah i have been working on this idea for quit some time also and the only thing that i was unable to find was if the transmission from the rz would go right in the case of the banshee or if any mods would need to be done. Looking at the RZ 350, from the numbers i have came up with i feel confident in being able to launch in 2nd im just concern that 2nd-4th might be to long of a stretch. I know Yamaha changed the ratio from the rz350 to the banshee for a reason, it's just that those reason didn't take in to account the power happy, adrenaline junky crazy fuck. I still got alot of research i need to do before my decision is written in stone. Let me know how it goes when you end up doing it.
  18. Shit, tail light it is. I hated how all that cluster fuck of wiring looked in the back and now i have to put my tail light back on, SHIT. Well atleast it is only that one wire. Thanks ban99 for the site. Thanks glamis321 i hope its more then what i expect, i'm so hyped that im going. Never thought i would ever go, let alone on a 4mil. O, and stock 7mill, thats a good idea, getting roosted by sand hurts like a mother fucker.
  19. Taking my first trip to Glamis,Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo. My bike came with the running light and no brake light and i really don't want to put back on. So would you guys happen to know if i would need a rear tail light?
  20. I was hoping to be able to run 1/8 to 1/4, but was hoping 1st threw 4th wouldnt hurt me when running 300ft but i guess from what the other guys have said it is not a good a idea. See, around here we dont have much sand to play in, just are backyard racing. But we do have a pretty good asphalt drag track and it would be fun to open her up out on the track. So looks like back to plan A.
  21. Hahahaha, im actually sandman for another reason, my screen name and the fact that i play in the sand is just a coincidence. But thanks grizzly and rubberneck, you guys answered my questions. The lack of parts and having to send them out was not a concern since i was planning on buy doubles, incase i messed up one set. Looks like stock trans it is. But if anybody else can give me more info, just so i can have more knowledge on the subject that would be great.
  22. From the sound of it you have the same setup as me, but my elevation is around 2,000. So yeah your gonna need to run race fuel, i know i have too. C12 has a Motor ocatane number, thats the octane number you need to look for, of 108. VP110 has a motor octane number of 107, thats what i use.
  23. Im just trying to get as much info on the swap and what it would require. The teardown is no big deal since im going to doing a override. I figured, get info on the rz and see if that will be a good route to take. I have googled all i could find but it hasn't really helped me, hoped some one on here would give me the pros and cons. I have heard some guys having it done, on here.
  24. I'm thinking about do a rz transmission i just don't know what need to be done. Can I use the same case as my stock banshee? Do i have a option of making it over ride? Or any other mod that i would need to do to make it work. What are the benefits of doing so? The reason I"m thinking of doing the mod is because i have been looking at the difference in gear ratio between the two and the rz has a better top speed.
  25. What kinda shit is that. What a waste of a bike and curved swing arm. LOL. I'll take alot of pictures.
