Ive only hung up when drag racing, starting line. Ive replaced 4 chains with the stock skid on and no problems. All aftermarket ones I've seen look the same. Unless you go with stock.
-
You guys are all wrong, got the dyno sheet to prove it. Some member posted this a while back, thought it would be funny.
-
Yeah I think its your tors also, plug chop is pointless if the bike was running good before you mess with the brakes. Like fastbans said unplug the little black box.
-
dajogejr are you having flash backs, because I sure am. shawn941 how much do you weight and how much does your buddy weight.

He said the silencer say toomey.

Race Gas - Good or Bad to run on stock motor?!
sandman81 replied to 3YLSYKR's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Here we go again making no fucking sense, LOL, just fucking with you. Yeah I get what your saying. -
Damn It's hard to tell the chambers look like they are welded different then the t4. Post a pic from a different angle.
-
LOL never heard it called a banch, you could of striped out the adjuster screw. Take off the clucth cover it very easy then we can go from there.
-
Can you make the picture bigger. But I want to say some old Toomey T4. http://www.toomey.com/html/faq.htm scroll down see if they look like them.

Race Gas - Good or Bad to run on stock motor?!
sandman81 replied to 3YLSYKR's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm not most people, LOL. Cool I get what your saying, it's just that your comment about not just going of compression when picking a octane fuel and then using a example of engine's compression and didn't explain why, is what didn't make sense. People that I have dealt with think that cranking compression is what to go by and don't know that other compression exist. I think it would be safe to say that 3YLSYKR doesn't understand this, by the race fuel question. Not start shit, but I don't see how elevation should matter when it comes to picking a octane grade if cranking compression is not important, only time I have used elevation with relation to cranking compression is to see if the engine is nicely sealed. I've seen engines at higher elevation that have high cranking compression run great at sea level, they just need to do minor adjustments. -
Race Gas - Good or Bad to run on stock motor?!

Ok, DUDE. Do yourself a favor and learn to write so we can understand you. I don't know if your talking about cranking compression, dynamic compression, or static compression. Static compression ratio, is measured in volumes in relation to BDC to TDC. Like 12:1 or 6:1. It doesn't change that is why it's called static, meaning, standing fixed in one place. Dynamic compression ratio, is measured where the position of the piston is in relation to the exhaust port height and TDC. Cranking compression, is the pressure that is produced in the cylinder. So your statement about "Also you cant just go by compression. A drag ported motor is going to have lower compression then a stock motor with the same size domes." Makes no sense you tell me you can't just go of compression but then you give a example of a drag ported motor that is going to have a lower compression. And if compression doesn't make a difference when choosing a octane grade fuel, then why use compression as in example. I do know how to read, you just don't know how to explain yourself. So don't give me shit. -
Race Gas - Good or Bad to run on stock motor?!

I did read it. You said "You should be safe with a high quality 93 octane up to a 20cc dome." Meaning anything lower then 20cc and he'll have to use higher octane. No mention of a base or starting point. And I'm helping him by giving him some input on setups. e.g. my friends setup and another members setup. Even though it is word of mouth. Don't get what you ment by "you can't just go by compression," then you put "A drag ported motor is going to have lower compression then a stock motor with the same size domes". I told him it would be pointless, meaning no help. 3YLSYKR, my friend's banshee stock, except for timing, 18cc domes, vforce reeds, pods and toomey t6. -
LOL, You get what I was trying to get at.
-
I have to agree with snop, make sure you know what the final outcome to be.

Race Gas - Good or Bad to run on stock motor?!
sandman81 replied to 3YLSYKR's topic in General Banshee Discussion
That's not true. My boy got 18cc domes running on 91 octane, has no problems, elevation 2,400 ft. There is another member on here from Tucson, he is running the same setup. As for 3YLSYKR, it is pointless, and it does smells better. LOL. -
Welcome to HQ, pretty sick bike in your video. LOL, great song, perfect for video. Check out my video, LOL.

I will disagree with you on that one. This way they will learn, get some tips to make them better riders. Thats if they don't think they're know it alls. Wish I had this when I was young. Shit, I mean younger, don't want to sound old.
-
Bansheeb0y5505 you apologized so we straight. But just like the other guys have said, get some seat time and once you have gotten a bunch, you get some more and some more and some more. But check this out I think you'll like, Aaen performance V-4 two stroke.
-
The reason I thought you were fucking with me a 700 raptor and a r6 almost weght the same 8 pounds off. Depends on what year r6 but around 100hp to 123hp, yamaha claims.
-
99bansheeboy you get mad because people assume that your a moron cuz your 15, for the record we never said you were a moron. Your age and intelligence is going to be proven. You said, "A healthy banshee with just an exhaust system and intake is about the same. 44-45hp give or take........ Add in the 19cc compression domes, and Im willing to bet that motor he has is capable of around 49-50hp." Dajogejr tryed to tell you, "Show me a non-ported banshee with pipes, a 1-2 carb and 19cc domes that will make 49-50HP. IMPOSSIBLE. PERIOD". Then you went and posted some bullshit ass dynojet graph of a banshee that was pull 50hp. You said, "I KNOW dyno jets are innaccurate, and read a little high. But it proved my point about a stock bolt-on shee being in the 45hp ballpark". You didn't prove anything, all you did was agree that dynojets are bullshit. OK and the reason for my r6 comment. You where trying to say that 4 stroke technology was at its max. If you new so much about engine you would know that that is not true. R6 engine are far more technological advance then a yfz450 let alone a raptor 700. R6 cranks are solid and not pieced together, they don't have ballbearing or neadle bearing, or due the camshafts, so they can handle higher rpms. They have a better cooling system, have direct port injectors allows for better atomizing of the air and fuel. The yfz450r is throttle body. Just so you know these companies don't give a flying fuck about there atv technology all there technology is put to the r6 and r1, why because there more money to be made in MOTO Racing then all the rest. Think about this why some 450 can keep up if not beat a 600 or 700 atv but yet there 150 to 250cc. So you know, your math was off 600cc divded by 4 is 150 cc each. And what you said about 1000cc KTM street bike with fuel injected and direct injection two stroke making a come back, haven't seen it so if you have a site I can check it out send it my way, there is a snowmobile not sure who makes it but does the same shit. I don't care how smart you think you are for your age, you're not as smart as you think, not talking shit just stating the facts. Anybody will tell you, that when they were younger they thought they new more. And what fuckin piss me off is dont ask us to not criticize your intelligence and then have you come on here and run your fuckin mouth by talking shit to members that are simply trying to help you out. So you chill the fuck out. Had to get the last comment out of my system. Have a nice day. Shit forgot to mention, daj doesn't need to agree with you about the 100hp banshee. I can, my banshee.
-
Your fucking with me right. I'm gonna give Bansheeb0y5505 some time to responed. That is if his history teacher lets get on the computer or maybe his mom when he is done doing his homework. LOL.
-
Sooooo, why is that? Hahahaha Imagine John Force in two stroke methanol v8, FUCK that will smell so nice.
-
Yeah no shit, i'm the same way. Drag racing my banshee every weekend is not enough to make me a true banshee owner. In your 15 years of existence. Just so some of you guys know we are dealing with a 15 year old, according to his profile. You have no knowladge about engine. If you think that the 4 stroke technology is at its max. Look at a ds650cc or raptor 700cc they are 50cc to 100cc more then a r6, 600cc in case you didn't know, and the r6 will smoke any quad out there. Why is that? Tell me if you think you can. Another thing fuel injected atv haven't been around that long, so it will take time before some of these carb loving bike builders try and mess around with a fuel injection setup. Maybe you should get off your banshee and stay in school. Lol, just fucking with you don't want you to get all sad.
-
It's a 300, You don't want to mess with big hommie he lays the smack down. See if I get some video of my other boys there pushing 300 and some, guess what there runnig slow ass DS. Hahaha Hopefully I'll help settle this bullshit and video it. And I know, we'll still have some non believers.
-
Thanks man, yeah those bad boys are 18 inch wide, if you don't see me coming you'll hear me with those swampers.
