  1. run an ohm meter to all your electrical connections
  2. Well i run the dumbo ears and my buddy has cut fronts and like already said you will get a lil bit dirtier. The front fenders help with doing wheelies too.
  3. I think its safe to say its gonna cost you at least 1100. When your in there you should replace all the bearings in the transmission, any circlips you take off, do the shift shaft and star mods, might want to replace your idler gear bushing if you have a lot of ride time on the bike, check out the clutch tolerances, and if you have the extra money get some vforce reeds and a cool head. I beadblasted my cases and jugs when they were off too and re painted the jugs. If you can get to a sandblaster do it, my motor looks brand new now.
  4. lol thats hilarious
  5. where are you gonna be riding the banshee? How much money do you plan on dumping into it? if your planning on just throwing on a few bolt on mods and your gonna trail ride it, i would personally stay away from the t5s unless your looking into motor work. You'd be happier with some pro circuits or fmf ssts.
  6. yeah i need some advice on this too. my screw from the plastic to the gas tank by the seat wouldnt come out, i spun the collar so i had to grind the head off now i dont know what to do lol.
  7. 20 in hds in the rear at 4 to 4.5 psi and i have some trail wolfs on the front that are pretty worn out i run them pretty high like 12 psi.
  8. Your gonna have to remove the cover and the internals in there like the clutch kickstarter and a few gears. You dont have to take the clutch apart just remove the 6 clutch springs and then the center nut, slide off the whole clutch assembly. Its really quite simple. If you dont have a hand impact driver than you should go get one cuz your prob gonna need it.
  9. what do you guys think about the Vitos clutch?
  10. yeah id like the rubber mounted hd motor just for the sound. If i were to put a street bike motor id go back a few years all the new motors are all hp no torque. Get an older gsxr that revs out at like 11,000 and i think it would perform better.
  11. seen these before there pretty sick. I'd go with the solid rear axle and a harley davidson motor or something along those lines. S&S, Dyna, Screamin eagle
  12. lol thats awesome
  13. well from my experience i think the stock rims are def one of the best you can have for the trails. Stay away from the Itp pro series aluminum rims unless you want to throw away some money. The Bajas ive heard arent bad. Go with the rolled lip. I prefer a 9in
  14. 15 41 is the way to go
  15. Good post!! I always use a money order too so easy to track and guarenteed to get your money back.
  16. thumb throttle for sure. Twist throttles suck. the stock thumb throttle pull isnt even hard i always here my buddies complaining about it ive never had a problem.
  17. I'd buy the china radiator i mean why not, everything else in my house is from china. As far as our work going overseas we did it to ourselves with our big unionized companies. Central Maine Power goes on strike around here every year for example and i just hope they can all those inconsiderate union workers and higher me and the other thousands of qualified people for the job. Fact Toyota employs more US citizens than any American made auto manufacture. If the big wigs didnt pocket all the dough that should be going back in the company we'd be in a different situation.
  18. Next i would get some bigger carbs 33mm or 35mm with some uni pods. i wouldnt jump to conclusions and say you NEED to run higher octane gas. i know a guy running a long rod crank, full drag port, stock cyl, cool head with 18cc domes @ sea level, 38 pwks, 87 oct pump gas. Is it running on the edge? Yes but it has been for 3 years with zero problems.
  19. if your going in there and you have the money than go for it. its def worth it. i just did it cuz my crank was bad too.
  20. want some lube, here, use my beer
  21. wow ive been off the site for 6 days and stuff is getting wild haha
  22. pics of pwk airstriker setup to [email protected]
  23. on my ssts i used clr some scotch brite rubbed it on the ruff spots and wiped it away with a rag after it set for a while.
  24. if your saying that when you rev it up right at the top it kinda sputters and hesitates, i would say its probably your stator. if you have a buddy that you can take his out and try it that would be sick. same thing happend to a guy i know around here and when i put on my stator it ran fine.
