  1. appreciate it, your a good man......
  2. Im making a set of struts...... front = 12" eye to eye How long does the rear need to be for it to sit level..... I could measure but im not at home and a guy at work is making me some now....
  3. Its a dirt track, mixed with some kinda clay he said. Said that knobbies are fine at that track. Ill leave the race fuel out until i can get some more domes in to get my compression up. Also thanks for the tube size ill head to lowes tomorrow and grab bout 3 feet and just strap the rear. Like i said its e.t. so as long as i can be consistent how fast you are really dont matter. My boss also owns a dirtrack in Friendship, TN where its heads up racing, he's been trying to get me there to run but im not going until i at least get my new cylinders ported and get the 4 mill crank in her...... thanks for the help guys
  4. Oh and it's stock e.t. Class
  5. Headed to my first official race this weekend with my boss. It's in Ashland Miss. I was gonna try some race gas for a little extra. Some C12 to be exact, right now my timings at +4, should I bump it up a lil more? My compression is @ 135 on both cylinders with 21cc domes @ sea level. I know this is a minor question but I'm wanting all I can get until my 4 mill is ready! Should I strut it? If so what size stock should I use? Thanks guys
  6. Shocks are PENDING
  7. thats the write-up.......thanks mopar
  8. A light to chocolate brown is what your looking for, if you think its toooo light of a brown it probally is and id go up a size on my main..... can u throw in some new plugs, make a 6th gear WOT pass cut it off and let it coast to a stop. Take out the plugs and post a picture.
  9. If it means anything at all, im a member of a zx14 forum and got the same msgs from the same spammers on there, so its more than just a couple of sites.
  10. I have them on my stock a-arms, as for the actual weight i havent a clue, i got them from a member on here
  11. Got some dual rate elkas im trying to get rid of, for parts or will sell outright...... billet clutch basket, slingshot lockout, cylinders, im just shooting some stuff out there, lemme know what you got. If not, ill let em go for what i paid.... $300 pic on sig
  12. BUMP for a awesome ride....... and the BAR comment.....priceless! hahahah
  13. Thats EXACTLY what they are designed for, a lil ooomph on a non-ported motor by changing the timing, they are not designed to work with a ported motor im sure it will jack up ya timings. There was actually a nice write-up about them on the web somewhere, where they tested them against stock pistons on stock jugs and noticed a good improvement in power over stock.
  14. honestly just because its bogging doesnt mean its not getting fuel due to supply..... could be a jetting issue. I agree that a stock motor shouldnt have fuel supply issues if your screnn, vent etc are working properly. I have a stock motor with a pingel just because i had issues with my fuel lines kinking (aftermarket lines) so i got a pingel, i love it and it will supply the needs when you do go bigger.... and yes you will go bigger.... just my .02
  15. x2 - just cut plug and splice the 2 wires together.....done dadda.....
  16. Was out riding the other day and when my friend pulls his clutch lever in it ticks from the clutch cover not really loud or obnoxious, almost sounds like a spark plug arching tick....anyone have any ideas?
  17. sounds like hes wanting lower gear instead of taller......i basically was in the same situation, no room around here to top out 6th..............i dropped 1 in the front and im happy......
  18. if u still have ur parking brake make sure it all the way forward.... if its not making contact it wont rev
  19. x2 im not gonna say its impossible......but ur gonna have a hell of a time trying to fit 34's on a stock airbox without some different boots and mods to the airbox and diff mounting...... i have PWK 28's and it was a job.....id go with pods too
  20. thanks, ill let him know.......he was freakin out thinking it was something major haha
  21. id def be interested...... with me getting layed off last week i just cant convince the wife a port job is priority hahaha...... i know i can do it myself, just need some measurments.... how much and when will it be completed? PM me
  22. was dragging against one of my friends today and after several passes back to back down the track when he shut his off smoke was coming out of his right pipe....like something was on fire..... i jumped off mine and looked into his silencer and it was glowing red.....the headpipe wasnt, just the silencer...... we let it cool down and eased it back to the trailer...anyone have any thoughts on what would cause that..... he has a drag port, T5s, v force 3's, pods, 34mm PJs, 160 mains at 200 ft above sea level
  23. is in your pilots assuming carbs are clean and synced, new plugs, etc etc...... start at 2 turns out from seated on the air screws.... if going IN makes it better but it dont TOTALLY clear out by a 1/2 turn IN from fully seated u need the NEXT BIGGER size.... which is 27.5 on stock carbs.....if it gets better by turning them OUT, but doesnt clear up by 3 turns out.... go smaller....
  24. I had to change my pilots a couple sizes up........ dont know if it was JUST V-Force related or not because I added different pipes at the same time.....
  25. dude this thread got pushed way down and i just now found it...... i appreciate the concern and thank u for that! Fuckin Bush, basically threw dirt on our asses when we were already in a hole..... but thats another subject. At least Obama is trying to help out us middle class blue collard workers.... appreciate the detailed responce as well, makes perfect sence now and actually is maybe a mph off or so..... thatll work for me.... my garmin reads about 3mph slower than all my vehicles so i dont know whats right. thanks again man!
