  2. man that tecate is sick! i bet it would be a blast to ride........if hes got it setup right it probally would kill most shees..... i hate saying that lol..... seriously though i had a 250r trike back in the day, ported n polished and reeds.... damn thing would destroy most shit around here.... if u can ride a 3 wheeler decently u can easily out manuver a quad when the shit gets technical....

Fellaz, finally got rid of one of my streetbikes and the upgrade process begins..... i ordered a set of T5s, vforce 3's, and looking into carbs now..... i can get some 34mm PJs for 250 shipped and was wondering was that too big for a stock motor, i am def getting a dune port from Brandon soon, but was wondering can i go ahead and slap em on? also where should i start with the mains/ pilots? thanks a bunch.... i can get some 28 pwks for the same price and just wanted to go ahead and go bigger now instead of having to buy some more when i port and possibly stroke.....

  7. yea im looking at a website now that has the 916s for sale @ 539........every where ive looked the t5s are just as high! if you know of someone or somehwere I can get them cheaper please let me know.
  8. With the mods I currently have and where Im gonna go in the future which pipe do you think is best? The DMC 916's or T5s? im getting vforce 3's, dune ported cylinders, and 33 or 34mm carbs...... thanks.... im ready to click add to basket now so help me out.... which pipe would net better gains? i LOVE the way toomeys sound and someone said the 916's sound like toomeys but make more power? is this true? ne proof?
  9. so even as a newb ive heard so much about these pipes, like they are the messiah of all shee pipes. im on the market for pipes now but im very picky.... so would these be my best bet? with a dune port, v3s, cool head plus 4 timing? are they a mid top pipe?
  10. do i have to modify cases? also how many bores u get on a 68mm sleeve? help a brutha out i need to let him kno something.
  11. well he wants 500 for the whole top end, head, pistons, rings and cylinders. is this a decent price? also besides carbs and pipes what am i looking at to install? he said i dont have to modify cases for the 68mm......true? thanks guys just trying to keep from making a newb mistake.

  13. what size are the 2 long bolts that go through carrier? The ones u losen to adjust chain..... i need new ones and im gonna pick up some stainless.......thanks
  14. thats some good to know info.... theres probally a qtr size circle of that black ani friction coating left on the air filter side of carb the rest is gone.... ive cleaned the slides and bore with a rag a few times and it seems to get better but after a day or less of riding it does it again.... can i buy new slides if so where can i get em?? thanks guys.

  19. how would i check if slides are worn out??? also about the retainer hole lining up what exactly where u referring to? i thought it would only go in one way? ill try the scotchbrite tho.....anything at this point......thanks guys for all the help, this shit is a pain!
  20. they dont appear to be...... previous owner may have. ne way to tell if they have been? also since the tores removal install they needles seem more loose.... when installing carb tops i have to guide the needle in the hole usually with a long screwdriver or something... like they dont line up. just thought id mention that as well.
  21. recently my throttle has been sticking, not wide open but like i have a damn cruise control hahah sometimes cruising it will stick and i can let go and it will continue to go.....a blip of the throttle usuing stops it and sometimes it stops on its on..... it dont stick all the time either just occasionally.... i have tore carburators completelt down floats and all and cleaned.... cleaned slides and bore.... installed vitos tors removal kit with new cable.... still does it..... im lost, i think its my slides, not sure. could i maybe wetsand them lightly with like 1000 or 2000 grit to try to smooth em down? what do u guys suggest? thanks for your help.

  23. not sure if they have been cut or not..... i doubt it. Just was wondering if maybe they could be weak. Its like my slides are hanging but not sticking all the way. When i blip the throttle it takes a few seconds for it to calm down to a idle. Ima clean em real good in the morning when i get off and see if that helps... also on the locknut, them bastards better give me some but until then ima try some rtv or maybe a spring or something to put a little tension on it to see if that helps...
  24. how tight is too tight? i cranked down on my caps pretty good..........also i didnt hear of anyone mentioning the springs? mine feel awful weak, when i loosen the carb cap it doesnt make my cap jump up, on my friends shee it does...... KhaosBanshee - no mine did not come with a locknut....i knew something wasnt right about that i was like damn thats piss poor design......well ima give Vitos a call tomm and get that handled....
