  1. Wow, never thought of that, so it would be a good idea to use brass washers then? But to original poster, just use orings, a litttle grease from your grease gun on the orings then put em in the grooves and it works like a charm, I believe also that the grease helps condition the orings and keeps em pliable, ive reused mine several times and not one leak. stock nuts are fine, i bought some high dollar acorn style chrome nuts from cascade and the studs stick out to far and they wont tighten down to the head.

Trust me, we all go through it, i wouldnt say just ditch her like alot of these guys say, i would have a sit down with her and tell her about ur passion and she needs to support you in what u like and love, if she has anything to say back other than " you right, i was being selfish" then ditch the bitch....lol....i had to have a talk wit da wifey, she hadda get on track. My past was f@cked, i was a gun toting, street thug, drug dealer and was in jail every week for somethin,..... i picked up a 4 wheeler and a streetbike as a HOBBY to stay out of jail..... so far so good, i told her, "I could always sell it and go back to what i was doing" i beleive that was the LAST convo we had bout my banshee...... just have fun man.

Dude, it runs better when you go down in size because its leaning it out......i would post your altitude and your mods and let these guys help, and from the looks of it, listening to your buddies is going to toast your motor, not the guys on here.... I had a completly stock motor, stock carbs with fmf fattys and lid off on airbox and i was running 280 mains in mine...... 160 just sounds retarded. i seriously doubt anyone is running 160 mains in a banshee unless its kiehin carbs......you do need to jet up. edit: whens the last time you ran it wide open through 6th and looked at your plugs? I bet they look like christmas.....

  8. I'll get him to pull his needles for me today, almost certain there diff, his has more of a tapered look to them instead of all fat and blunt looking like mine..... i do remeber that much
  9. havent really got it dialed in yet, its like its lacking on the top end though compared to the 34's, but jetting seems spot on when i do a 1-6th wide open plug test. they are a light brown, ima lean the needle one notch and go from my 165's to 162's. I thought i put my 162's in and my 162's are still in my bag. *shrugs* ill try that out tomm and post up. next size down i have are 158's, need some 160's...... my 300ft dirt times dropped from 5.3's to a 5.0 but its still not pulling hard up top, almost boggin in top of 5th

  12. i know for a fact he has 160 mains because i got em for him..... as for pilots im not to sure on, ill have to wait till he gets off work n check, ill just go grab some 160 mains and some 48 and 45 pilots...... just dont know why the 50's would work in the 28 pwks and need to go smaller on a bigger 33 pwk? edit : ima pull my needles out and look at em, ill have something for ya in a sec.....
  13. Sup HQ, need some help getting these dialed in. I have T5's, +4 timing, vf3's, @150psi on full drag port. Just traded Travis my 28 PWK's for these and we kept same jets, Im at 50 on the pilot and 162 on the mains, which is what i was running with the 28's and it ran strong, i ran my buddies 34 pj's on mine and it absolutely screamed with the drag port and thats why i traded for these, not getting that same effect.....where should i start guys? Hey Travis Im working on the same issue hahah, Im right at 240ft asl and i was spot on with the 50 pilots, air screw one turn out from fully seated, needle on middle clip, and 162 mains. we had almost the exact same mods, now im trying to get jetted for your 33's hahah, got it started last night and it smoked like a freight train when i revved it.
  15. bellicose - previous owner had them cut short, i was stretching them out a little to give me a little more feel and one broke, guess it had a weak spot in it im not sure..... Talked to Jeff at FAST and he had some and is gonna next day air em to me....... Great Guy!

  20. well i was at +4 with a stock motor, added a full drag port and 18cc domes, my compression is dead on 150psi per cylinder, can i run race gas and bump it up to say +6 and see some results?

Well as of now im strutted and thats it, stock swinger and no wheelie bar, but my problem is not standing up on me, im sitting damn near on the tank when I take off and it doesnt try to come up much. I was about to order a set of the desert storms because i was scared of extreme paddles for that track also..I mean paddles aint cheap and id hate to spend 250 on something that dont work. i went cheap and got a set of ams zippers to try, if they dont work any better i can always try them 10 pdl extremes u have and if they work for me i'll get em off your hands. Also if you plan on coming down, try this weekend, saturday and sunday are the Spring Nationals, so it will be a good crowd and more money to win ahhaaha Yea i was running my wedges and the 4 snows I borrowed at 4.5 lbs and backwards.....
  22. I've seen some posts of people having thier timing bumped even higher than +4, when should i go higher? I mean benificial wise when will i start to need more timing? Thanks
  23. Thats crazy! if u shed bout 50 lbs you would be in the 3's.....but then it would be expected ya know... but if your nething like me, i love food and beer so it aint happenin hahah man good job, that bike is flying man! glad your happy, thats all that matters peace
  24. I hate to admit it but, cough i spent 45 mins or better the first time i rebuilt mine trying to get the cylinder over the rings.... hahah i didnt have this site to back me up then. I didnt know about the slit in the piston and couldnt compress the rings for sh!t ahhaha
