  1. hi all , had a problem with my clutch it got stuck , so i found what was wrong it turned out to be the needle bearing on the clutch actuator lever where it turns on the casing must have got water in it and wrecked it so ive removed it now but i need a new one does anyone know where i could get one or tell me the size i need?
  2. hi managed to find the problem, it was the roller bearing on the clutch actuator arm had seized up water must have got in was a bugger to get out too!!! but now its out does anyone know where id get one or have a bearing number ?
  3. ok thanks guys will set about taking it apart ,nice tip about the trans oil by the way! can any one tell me how it managed to get welded together? and do i need to remove the clutch?
  4. hi all can anyone help me with my latest problem with my banshee ? my clutch has seemed to have stopped working the lever has gone solid ive checked the cable and its nice and free could it be something inside the gearbox? thanks
  5. hi guys thanks for all your help with last problem!! got another for ya, my banshee had a small feul leak and a high idle so i took the carbs out and cleaned them and checked for air leaks but when i put it back together the feul leak was fixed but still high idle, it also makes a funny popping sound from one exaust almost as if that cylinder isnt firing the same on both sides?? also more exaust gases out of one side. and if i put my hand over the good exaust then off again it idles fine and all is well until i rev it and it goes back to high idle again? something not right but when its driving all is fine can anyone help?
  6. hi mate my banshee did the exact same thing the other day, all it needed was to unplug the e brake switch which runs from the clutch perch down the back of the handlebars and into a connecting plug i just pulled the plug out and it went great
  7. ok good stuff what about the tors system? shall i leave it unplugged?
  8. yes !! it worked i unplugged the e brake on the clutch and it came back to life! but what do i do now? all those bits are unplugged do they need to go back in?
  9. hi mate try what? is there supposed to be a link? thanks
  10. hi i have a 2002 banshee the other day going a bit too wild managed to roll it onto its side, but when i turned it back over it wont rev it only idles and when you open the throttle it just splutters? i have taken the carbs of and cleaned them which fixed it for about 10 seconds then disconnected the tors throttle switch the black box and the two on the carbs which fixed it again for about ten seconds then went back to no revs again! driving me mad can anyone tell me whats wrong???
  11. hi everyone my first post, i have a 2002 banshee and all fine untill i rolled it onto its side! now it wont rev at all it starts and idles fine but when i go to rev it it just make a deep sound and does nothing , i have taken carbs apart and cleaned them put it back together and when i did it fired up fine and reved as it should for a couple of times then went back to no revs! so then i tried disconecting the TORS system i took out the black box plug the thumb plug and the two on the carbs and it did the same ran great for about a minute then went back to no revs. also i am noticing that when i go to rev it i get spits of feul out of the exaust. can anyone help?
